Why do priests have 5 talent points for improved wands, but all the mid-high range wands in the game have “Class:Mage” restriction on them???
The only two available wands for range 33 to 45 cost 15g-50g on AH. Wtf is this bs design by Blizzard? Best example the wand that drops in Razorfen Downs, why the hell is that “Class:mage”? Why not just removing the 5/5 wands talent for priests then if you DONT WANT them to actually use wands?

The blue wand you get in BFD is good enough to reach 41. at 41 you can buy Blackbone Wand for 4 gold from a vendor.
Im at lvl 30 on my priest and i have used wands for more than 70-80% of my total dmg up to this point im sure 
the 5 talent points into wands are the best points i ever spent lol. priest wanding is super OP. maybe thats why theres not alot of them between 25-40… wanding doesnt need to be better than it already is

Because while Classic is charming and built on a really solid foundation, it’s riddled with baffling, terrible design issues.
Like Feral Druids not scaling with weapon damage and a level 29 Blue outperforming a Naxx Legendary, because that makes perfect sense

Tbf Crowd Pummeler active is just amazing.
I am still using the shadow wand from the quest in BFD and its still doing good damage for me.
A good Wand is Starfaller, an arcane Wand with 32.86 DPS, which is a drop from the Gelkis Scouts or Hatefury Betrayers/Hellcallers in Desolace, but it has a low drop rate. There is also the Necrotic Wand, a Shadow wand with 33.21 DPS, which drops from a rare spawn in the Scarlet Monastery Graveyard.
The Stonevault Geomancers in Uldaman drop the Earthen Rod, a Nature Wand, which deals 35.59 DPS.
At Level 37, you can farm Jainas Firestarter, a fire Wand with 39.38 DPS from the Green Scalebanes in the Swamp of Sorrow.
Also,there are alot of other wands you get from quests too.
In Desolace, you can get the Quest Gizelton Caravan with Level 32, which rewards an arcane Wand with 31.05 DPS.
In Botty Bay, you can get the Quest Venture Company Mining at Level 30+, which rewards a fire wand with 32.75 DPS or the Quest Pearl Diving, also at 30, for a Nature Wand with 30.38 DPS.
In the Arathi Highlands, you can get the Quest Chain Sunken Treasure at level 35, where the second Quest rewards you an Arcane Wand with 32.69 DPS.
In Dustwallow Marsh you can get the Quest Challenge Overlord Mok’Morokk at level 38, which rewards a frost wand with 37.14 DPS.
There are enough Wands for you, you just have to put in some effort!

There’s only ever been one wand that me and my buddy lock have come across that’s mages only and that’s my class quest wand. Every other quest item or green drop has been fair game. But friend is still using Gravestone Scepter because it shoots shadow damage and warlocks can get a talent for 10% increased shadow damage, so he hasn’t even needed a better wand because they won’t do better dps.

You’re asking design questions to people that aren’t designers, and the actual designers haven’t been designing classic in 15 years. I really doubt you can get an answer.
If you’re asking for changes, you’re also wasting your time, as they won’t do it.

Oh, and if you are too lazy to get any of the wards I listed, you can just buy the Blackbone Wand (Shadow, 35.31 DPS) from Katis in the cleft of Shadwos in Ogrimmar at level 41 for about 3 gold and 50 Silver.
DO NOT BUY IT FROM THE VENDOR IN UC, you pay 40 silver more for the same wand, which is just wasted money.
That’s just the faction reputation discount kicking in, an undead priest should get it in undercity.
Hmmm I wouldnt bet money on it, but I am pretty sure the base price in UC is actually 40 silver higher than in OG.

For the priest to boost wand damage you got 5 talent points. Its all as it’s meant to be.Why there shouldn’t be specific wands for mages and so on, would ask contra question?

Who are you arguing with? The company that designed Classic is not around anymore and Activision Blizzard have just made a some what close copy of that game. You like a guy in a museum yelling at paintings you dont like.
