As per title. I know that at sometime during vanilla they nerfed wands so that they only worked in melee range, but they do not seem to be working even win melee on either my priest ( lvl 8 ) or warlock ( level 7 ) Is it a bug that was present in beta?
Do you have a wand equipped? 
At that level, I couldn’t either afford or create one, but the button for it was in my taskbar nonetheless.
Do you have the wand equipped? You will also need to look for “shoot” in your spellbook.

What? They were never nerfed to only work in melee range.

I had the wand icon in task bar rather that shoot.
