Warcraft Direct 13th November

You’re not alone. Would love a Classic > TBC > Wrath rolling fresh. Not a big fan of wotlk, but love classic and TBC, so that would mean a good break in between the restarts for my part  .

It will most likely kill firemaw era, and if that happens i rather play retail then being forced to start all over. But then again they wouldn’t release fresh servers while sod is running it doesn’t make sense at all. They gave china fresh era servers because they didn’t have one to bein with.

Era has been dead pre hardcore, the truth is that most people where raid logging in era or played something else and some other players are annoying hype hoppers anyway. There is a good reason why so many people ask for refresh since last year because HC is not for everyone.

SoD is a season and people know it will have an end soon.
The classic team also confirmed that SoD is a testbed for a classic like version in the future. (without announcing anything or calling it classic+)

And just a reminder, before SoD was announced at Blizzcon last year, many of us were hoping for TBC servers or Era refresh and this hasn’t change since then.

So what ever they announce for classic at Direct, players are ready for it.

hell no, clusters is what saved it.

Remove clusters and you have your fresh plenty of realms to play on and start over and make community with friends <3

Keep the clusters. You can still pick some of the unclustered realms if you want to play alone.

Dear lord, how high are you? Then they need a limit before being outside the cluster.

You already have Season of Mastery, Season of Discovery and so on i believe it will continue.,

At the end of the Season, you merge into Original Classic.

So i don’t see any Logic in demand of Fresh Vanilla, where you already have such experience with Seasons.

I agree we need Fresh TBC which will remain always as TBC same as we do have Classic Vanilla, non upgrading and remain forever as it it.

Could have nice feature via Clone from Classic to TBC for some Price tho, which will make people enjoy full Experience in both at the same time with feeling of “Evolving”.

The Reason Blizzard Experiment with Seasons of Mastery/Discovery etc is Classic+

Classic+ will be the very same version of all Seasons Combined as one, but i do believe it will take some time before this happen and get new Season before that.

It would be very complicated for current Season of Mastery to merge into original Classic due to many additional items and abilities. What would happen to the additional items - delete or make available to Classic characters? Seasonal characters with additional abilities will be too powerful compared to Classic characters. Do we give these abilities to Classic characters or remove them from the game?

Merging a character from SoD to Era is no problem as long they exclude gear, reset professions with unavailable receipts and runes. Technically it’s just a naked char and the best option instead losing it forever.

However, they said from the beginning we could lose it at the end. No problem at all.

It will be same as you Transfer , it will ask you to put these items outside of your Character or Auction, so it will disappear

Fresh vanilla server please ty!

My take that SoD will slowly transition into TBC SoD. They would add Scarlet Crusade raid before Naxx, then unlock 5 levels and Gruul’s and Magtheridon lairs, then next phase would give lvl 70 and Karazhan in TBC SoD instead of Vanilla SoD, like they would had planned, but would fail due to team size and time constraints. From there they would have no real instanced content to make raid of it, so TK and SSC would be introduced as usual.

TBC was well balanced so I am not sure TBC SoD will be better than fresh TBC.

Meanwhile Turtle WoW is making a wow classic version with Unreal Engine. Blizzard is so behind.

It won’t, TBC SoD would be abomination…TBC SoD is not TBC

Should not exist. Wont run on any existing pc

We will find out won’t we.

Sod was a open Beta test, it is almost gone.
