The date for Warcraft Direct has been announced - 13th November. I hope Classic won’t be left out during the event.
What I would like to get announced:
Fresh vanilla or
Fresh TBC
Fresh Hardcore as some streamers suggest - I don’t see any point in getting fresh servers for Hardcore because they will be the same like the existing.
New seasonal - unlikely to get this announced because the current one hasn’t finished.
More phases for Season of Discovery - it would be interesting if we get something after Naxx.
MOP Classic - most likely it will be announced - not that I want it to happen - epic edition mount has been datamined
Classic+ - I don’t think Blizzard is ready with this
I don’t see a point in Fresh Hard Core, everything looks fresh anyway and only reason why i exclusively play it.
TBC fresh on the other hand is only thing i really want from Blizzard.
I would hope Blizzard would address the huge scandal with entire guild banks being wiped in TWW and their ability (or will) to do anything about it. For more than two months there have been completely radio silence, and they still haven’t solved the problem.
Or maybe talk about how they will start combat bots, gold selling and GDKP.
HC servers were released without SSF and it’s a quite different experience when we can play SSF while no 60s exist.
A refresh could also come with new rules that makes it even more interesting and challenging.
Since SoD is most likely a testbed for almost 12 month, they are well prepared to announce Classic+. However, I believe they will release TBC and refresh Era this year and only show some teaser for Crypta and more content for SoD phases 7-8 before they announce Classic+.
-Classic Era does not need fresh server
-Classic hardcore does not need fresh server
-TBC could need its own classic serv
-Wotlk could need its own classic serv
-Mop is coming next following existing classic cata
-Blizzard must do something with empty/dead servers. Peuple want to feel Azeroth alive !
-Blizzard must continue to improve bots hunt and ban
-SOD continues to give feedbacks to Blizzard for a future updated version of classic but too early to announce in my opinion (they bref more Time to correct important éléments)
Most likely not. But there are also people like me, who do not consider Wrath to be a classic expansion, given the amount of retail mechanics already in the game by then.
I’m a TBC enthusiast, who dislikes the 2.4 changes in game mechanics like mana regen, but still counts TBC as part of the classic experience.
But WotLK clearly crosses the lines to the wrong side of things.
I think they actually going back to their roots, and the biggest news might be for where it all started, “Warcraft” Warcraft 3 might get big news this time. There is talk about an patch 2,0
Taking Varian and Vol’jin out of this game was the worst move ever.
World of Warcraft deserves better since Sylvanas burned the tree.
Bwonsamdi better show up and send back Vol’jin for 20th anniversary.
Exactly this, just because someone wants to start fresh doesn’t mean i have to start fresh too… it’s unlikely they will provide any fresh servers while sod is currently running.
I want to play classic but there is no point of starting now. Everyone just clears Naxx and you can’t find molten core for weeks. AH is dead - you either can’t sell stuff or things you need cost ten or more times of what it should.
