Oh, and good on Blizzard for not making us pay for it again. The Warcraft 3 community deserved this. Very good move for the fans.
I wonder if it might be an idea to give Warcraft 3 the Age of Empires treatment. Think people might enjoy that :]
PS: I immediately bought Warcraft 1 and 2. I had balance left over and I loved those games, and the remasters look… perhaps a bit too stylized, but good. Being able to control Warcraft 1 properly will be huge for me. I quit it too many times because of that.

Same, just grabbed the chest… I have OG WC 3 on an old Lenovo laptop that I keep offline, but since we´re getting the option to use the old models just uprezzed and /or mix and match, I think this is the version I can probably purchase in good faith. And currently my primary issues with WC1+2 result from having to use emulators like DOSbox . This solves those issues with a native windows client, and as a bonus the uprezzed art is more pleasing on today’s monitor sizes and resolutions. 
Gonna be interesting to see just how much they increase the WC1 combat speed by… lotta people that are used to “turtling up” beforepreparing for the actual attack might be in for a rude awakening 
I tried classic when it was new. Everyone was so hyped about the old glory days. Played maybe 30 min before my first encounter with griefing and trolling.
Its just how society and we have moved on compared to a decade ago. And for my life and where iam Retail fits me. I can get my non toxic crew and do some stuff and log out when im done.
Remix was fun for what it was. Nothing serious where you had to dedicate yourself or you char. And I love farming stuff.
