Warcraft Direct Leaks

Good prediction.
I shall become a laughing stock right alongside you.

Yeah, most likely something like that. But still, i am slightly hyped ngl.

There’ll be something for Classic WoW also. Forgot that. Probably the next theme after Season of Discovery. Season of something.

If Blizzard were to throw a hype bomb, then they’d announce that mobile WoW MMORPG that they previously scrapped because they lost access to China, which they’re back in now…
But that’s a Hail Mary.

A ‘hype bomb’ … for a mobile game ??? What

As Diablo Immortal demonstrated, there is actually a crowd for mobile games - even within Blizzard’s fanbase.

The WoW MMORPG Blizzard were developing for mobile, was specifically catered toward the Chinese market, who are way more keen on mobile games than the typical 43 year old European WoW veteran player may be.

So hype for some, but maybe not for all.

Really hope to see some Era/Classic refreshments like Vanilla triology start over again or restart, new servers, anything similar. It is my favorite time of WoW.

there was never a talk to create a Wow 2 i really dont know where people got that from.
lol really

He means Overwatch which was born out of the wreckage of project Titan, which was an FPS-MMO that Blizzard intended as their next big flagship following WoW. So not WoW 2 per se, but the successor to WoW in terms of Blizzard’s product portfolio. So that’s why it’s referred to as WoW 2, because Blizzard’s intention was to create the next big thing after WoW.

aah when i first saw overwatch i knew it wasnt the game to succeed an FPS will never be king in gaming

I’m hoping for a road map at the very least. It might be a bit too soon for any information relating to Midnight but some previews of that would help drum up some hype.

Player housing as a fully fleshed out feature is something I’d like to see, though I’m not getting my hopes up.

A return of the Brawler’s Guild as a permanent fixture would be neat.

Three hours to go.

Announce shaman tanks for 11.1  :candle:

This is nostalgia talking. MoP classic will be a waiting simulator like modern game.

The days of slow paced social gaming is gone no matter what expansion.

You’re unfortunately correct.

I dipped into Season of Discovery and Hardcore. At first, there were people talking and helping each other out. Especially in the early zones. It didn’t take long to encounter issues, though.

Even accounting for the staggered phases, anyone arriving late is going to struggle to catch up and gear up. Which is a shame since I do quite like the ability to play a Warlock as a tank. It’s pretty cool, though the ‘atmosphere’ just isn’t the same. A lot of people skip group quests or just lack the patience to tolerate doing a full clear of a dungeon so every dungeon quest can be completed at once.

I ended up having more fun with Remix. It helps that anything I unlocked in could be used by my main character as well.

This is actually not true. MoP PvP had the most PvP participation, the most PvE participation, and the most media coverage of any expansion  There’s a reason every single PvP movie is from MoP, and there’s a reason wow became popular on twitch and youtube around 2012, it’s because of MoP PvP, it was the peak, and Sodapoppin, Mitch Jones, Reckful, Skillcapped, MLG etc etc was in it’s absolute peak, and even PvE was loved in MoP, simply because class design was the best in the game’s history, which is actually what matters at the end of the day, and don’t forget…1v5’s on timeless isle, best times. The 2012 boom era also happened with WoW, music was peaking and it was just the perfect mix of everything. People want MoP classic for it’s class design, that’s what matters. Vanilla is the only good RPG expansion where it’s about the world and such, if they could integrate both into one another, then that’d be the best game ever, the world of vanilla and the class design of MoP.
