Hey, like the title said, i’m torn between thoses 2 classes, i’m mainly a pvp player, but like to do some raid, well actually i like to do about everything, wpvp, duel, bg, raid and so on
also note that i’m not interested in SL warlock, only SM/ruin or NF/conflag if that can help
Can you guys help me choosing one of them ? telling me the pro & con of each, etc

Like Dottie said, go for Warlock. If you know the class, you are unstoppable…
If you play alliance you will have hard time on warlock.
Depends… as a Hunter in endgame Naxx gear you will completely delete any cloth class in seconds. Other than that… go for warlock for pvp if you are okay with having zero mobility
i’m going to play horde
This is a bit of a misconception. You have more than enough ways to deal with Will of the Forsaken, if you’re only remotely decent at playing warlock.
Still experience is a bit different and you have to play better than average horde warlock.
just a small heads up. 99% of the people who grumble and moan about warlocks being OP have never actually played the class.
there’s a reason the class is the least popular (well, many, actually) and if you pick it you’re going to quickly see its nuisances. most people find them unforgivable. they’re missing a lot of stuff that casters typically require in pvp.
you’re going to have a bad time at 60 in bgs btw unless you’re bis OR SL. and SL is awfully boring. you’re dependant on other people to keep you alive in ways that other classes aren’t.

Warlock, if u have seen the alpha patches by accident in youtube hunter was a way better and different as it is now… in the last moment they decided to change the class of what it was originally designed and they cut off half the abilities, at release hunter was a half unfinished class (compared to alpha) and remained so… so warlock it is especially for pvp, hunter is fun in av and playmaker in wsg/ab but u wont shine with a deadzone…
You wont delete in seconds any cloth class with decent gear. Unless your oponents are brainwahed tunnelvisioners. Warlock should nearly always beat hunter. As the shaman above me mentioned, hunter in classic is unfinished class. There is interview with original dev about it on internet out there😉. Neverless hunter is gamechanger class in bgs and in both pve and pvp extreme fun and supportive dps class. Hunter is much more fancy than warlock. If you wanna 1vs1 domination class roll warlock. If you want have fun and higher skill ceiling chalenge roll hunter.
If u have Naxx gear as a hunter and you aren’t deleting mages and priests (okay not warlocks) in a matter of seconds then you are definitely doing it wrong. Has nothing to do with the opponent being bad or good… on an open field with nowhere to hide, they should never stand a chance.
I couldn’t get myself to play a warlock even if he is super strong in 1v1. Not having any mobility and SL being super boring to play just isn’t for me!
But that’s all pvp ofc… pve in classic vanilla is honestly really boring no matter what class. Only my opinion ofc
If you dont use engi gadgets in pvp and you dont get into deadzone in matter of seconds in before you get deleted then you are doing something wrong. For sure except AV towers, all others bgs are played with help of obstacles and rooms so you prolly dont use them. If mage finds pvp boring in classic than what other classes should say dude😉.
PvE is boring as hell… not pvp. PvP is awesome and the only reason i play.
