I am loving levelling this 'lock. Currently running through the Legion content and soon I will be on BFA. I will probably main this toon for a couple more expacs and then bring back my hunter or DK again.
id have said my lock main and alt are the ones I find most fun to play as all 3 specs, whilst dps only, are individual and different ⌠im not a hige fan of destruction and it could definitely do with a rework but afflict and demon are definitely in the top 5 specs of all classes that I most like to play.
I have a warlock, sheâs just resting like the rest of my toons because I can only be bothered to farm gear boxes on so many at a time. She is ace fun though.
At the beginning of Uldir, our raid group had 3 warlocks.
One ragequit when we had one person too many and had to ask him to bench for 1 raid.
Two simply disappeared.
One of our Shadow Priests rerolled Warlock for the new raid so that we have one
I enjoyed my warlock at Legion ⌠Aff warlock itâs ruined for me now
destro now for over 10 years and still my main although my raid group probably wishes i wasnt lol. we are patient and just go about our business
I think that most warlock players are those who have sticked to the class for their entire time in this game (like me). And I believe the constant specc overhauls of the class every single expansion puts off new warlock players. And the overhauls mostly leave the specc in a half-finished state which can at least be said about Demonology.
And like one guy already stated, most of the cool spells have been pruned away.
And another thing that puts people off from the class is that warlock has the least mobility in the game which can be quite infuriating if you are used to being able to move a lot.
Well I donât know about playstyles but Warlocks are tearing up the raids with some insane numbers so at least thereâs one thing going well for them.
Think weâre running 2-3 and theyâre consistently very high but outside of raids I canât offer any tidbits. Always been interested in the class but just donât have one on this server
Iâm actually main a Warlock in this raid tier, Demonology to be specific.
Not really because of the damage, but i always loved this class and for the first time since alot i wanted to progress with my Warlock instead of the Warrior (wich itâs been my main for a long time).
TBH is pretty strange you donât see Warlocks at all, they are very powerfull in this raid tier and i see alot of peoples maining it
I mained one, til I they revealed KT humans couldnt be locks
Warlock is so boring I wanna claw my eyes out so all the UH DKs you see are probably ex warlocks
What happened to warlocks? Nerfs and not fun.
Pet dies fast
Dots deal low dmg unless youre mythic raider
Interrupts/stuns no defensive vs any melee class
They got raged at for dying in first phase Ghunn and losing the raid their portals.
pets donât die quickly or easily (you can always grimoire them if you donât want one).
dots are definitely not low damage, easily ticking for 2-3k each. Thatâs 8-9k without sb spam (the one part I hate about afflict) or life drain for 20k crits with 50 stacks. This is with 360 gear, which is what my main has.
versus melee is pvp, so I cant comment on any of that but surely gateways help with that?
The warlocks are there, but hiding in the shadowâŚ
One of ours had to go tank, and Iâm normally healing, otherwise warlock would have been my main, judging by overall enjoyment and activity of mine over the years. Got two locks on the current raid team.
I have my lock idling somewhere in Dalaran, waiting to get unleashed and curse his way to max level
Warlocks are dominatin both PvP and PvE atm.
No idea what youâre talking about.
Iâve not liked my warlock since MoP. Itâs to immobile for my enjoyment.
Maybe, but it is mostly about destro that currently not much more then chaos bolt bot. Also most gutted, unfan and primitive gameplay of all warlock iterations from vanilla. All imho ofc, but i see much ppl feel the same.
Destro is the worst PvE warlock spec, but the best PvP spec.
Demo is currently one of the best specs you can play in the game, with affli following a little bit behind.
