Is blizz going to do WOD classic, or CATA is the last?
Between cata and WoD there was MoP.
That said I personally feel that cata “classic” is already a bad joke and prople are just playing it so they don´t have to admit to playing retail, eben though it really just is retail only 10 years too late, because there´s nothing you can do in Cataclassic that you can´t do 1:1 on retail anytime you like. They jebaited tehmselves because now the entire argument for vanilla, which was to be able to play the old zones cata destroyed, has been destroyed just as much as those old zones were.

It would be Panda Land after Cata not WoD. But most likely it will happen. Somewhere down the line we’re probably going to be looking at Classic Dragonflight. Aint that gonna be fun?
At the rate classic is constantly speeding up more and more because people are just blasting though pre-solved content with 10 years of minmaxing on pirate servers raising power levels to an unforseen degree, I suspect that some time in the next 10 years or so classic and retail will simply merge because there are no more expansions left but the current one to reboot 
Most likely they will release it. Easy cash with almost zero efforts.
Actually, WoD and Legion are going to be very rude awakenings for the “classic” crowd
They´ll release WoD, people will roflstomp through Highmaul, BRF anf HFC as is the norm for classic servers, and then compain as hard and long as tehy can for legion to come faster because wod had an even more massive content drought thatn Cata or Pandaria did. But they will love the garrison for the same reason we all hated it: because it destroyed the last shreds of social interaction that were still present by everyone sitting on their thumbs in front of the mission table all day.
And then the much beloved Legion will come, just as it was at lauch, and the whining will only intensify exponentially because they´re now all getting screwed by the same random lego system that caused so many of us to reroll a dozen times and /or quit in the first place 
I wonder if they are gonna go full-circle
