Dont you hate it when you cant summon your party members because your second guy has warmode enabled? Or you want to trade an item and you cant because you havent asked warmode for permission. This problem needs to be resolved its so annoying and unnecessary. Its literally creating 2 different virtual servers lol
Nearly misread this because I thought it was about summoning people without WM when you have WM on.
Yes, I would like it if party members could see each other regardless of WM status. Even if they can do nothing but summon, even if they can’t heal, or join a fight, etc. It is annoying.
Or alternatively, make small zones around summoning stones that ‘shares’ warmode and non-warmode so you can summon regardless.
Or put the summoning stone inside the instance.
The old system would fix it just make it so if the leader has WM on everybody gets it turned on for the duartion of the party and when its disbanded it get reset to what u had before samething if you have WM off.
I still think blizzard should make 2 seperate tabs for players with WM on/off since now everyone has to type WM on/off behind every description.
Trouble is this trivialises the decision to enable warmode. Blizz set it to the capital city because they want you to think twice about flipping it on and off and not do so on a whim.
This, or just forget the whole summoning stone system and make new system where party members can “teleport to start of instance” when party leader is in that instance.
I’ve pretty much stopped using Warmode 24/7 since 8.1. It’s just impossible to get anything done in the newer zones with the huge numbers advantage Alliance have on all Rp realms. Only time I ever toggle Warmode on these days is on reset day to complete the Call to Arms quests. After that I turn it off for the rest of the week.
Sounds like war. In irl, what war has ever been started, when the initiator didn’t feel they had superiority. Especially in old timey times, the specific intent was to overwhelm and massacre. So, in wow variable opponent numbers is not an unusual aspect of war. We have bgs if you want equal fights.
Makes sense, except can be abused as a shortcut to wm on/off.
Players can simply coordinate with each other. But, if lfg interface made things easier, qol changes there could help.
Yea. Real life. I’ll remember that when night elf country attacks again. I’ll just wait for it to be the blood elf war day and until then turn warmode off and avoid fighting.
Are you seriously comparing real life war with GAME warmode? Is this a joke or are you actually serious?
equal to be an actual war. to be fun having world pvp. a one sided fight isn’t fun. And in case you haven’t noticed, you play games to have fun. So while some may enjoy killing lvl 20 enemies and ruining their day, others want a real pvp battle when they turn warmode on.
I didn’t say for there to be a zone to enable. Just to disable. As it stands, you can disable warmode in any rested area already, so I can’t see why it’d do too much harm to include the summoning stone.
