I have been thinking about it for a long time that warrior is always “rage starved” and I now have managed to put the finger on the problem!
When you use an ability that works on the “next attack” such as is the case for warrior in the most cases you do not receive “hit rage”.
When you use Heroic Strike @ 15 rage; you are left with 0 rage. But you should have “fresh rage” because you did a default melee attack (even if you upgraded the attack).
THIS SHOULD BE FIXED! This is not about adding something new but about fixing something that shouldn’t have been broken in the first place!
This is not about “rend” giving rage when you hit a target but about the “default melee attack” giving the rage it is supposed to receive!
O.o bro warrior is broken indeed the MOST broken class! With a single charge u can deliver a swing+ms+ww+execute. Also regarding rage you never go out of it. You just have to lvl abit more and get more talents and a bit more gear. Trust me warrior is the best and most broken class in classic. Just lvl up get some blues.

like he said… actually get some gear first. warriors are the only class that has a resource bar that SCALES with gear. more strength and crit = more rage. it’s a not bug, just a feature.
There isn’t a single class that can’t beat warrior 1v1… If you can’t beat a warrior or think they are op you are doing something very wrong…

beat warrior in 1v1? alright… charge or intercept reckless hit ms+execute macro= dead. The only classes that can beat warrior is the mage because oh well iceblock blink sheep, and paladin because have 75% armor and can recover up to 5 times in a duel to full hp and also has buble, so in other words the 2 classes that can become immune to dmg. Do you mind to tell me then why everyone go alliance and roll warrior? Why every guild makes speed runs with 30+ warriors? Why is the top dps in classic? And why they always do premades full or warriors? Id say you are confusing hunter with warrior. Id believe that for hunter because the class is incomplete and in classic release was unfinished and it did remain so, till later expansions.
I’m talking about pvp.
You are aware reckless has 30 min cd ?
Try warrior against the likes of a shadow priest. Warrior is probably dead before he can even get through 2 shields.
Dead from what, did the priest call some friends?
Or is the warrior a noob who is running through open field to make him self a kite victim ?
In other words they do no damage while immune.
Now play a Prot warrior with Shieldwall and make the math how much damage he does during 10-15 seconds while he barely takes damage.
This shows me that you never played warrior or even have the slighest understanding of them in vanilla wow.
This shows me that you perfectly match this description:
Warrior against a shadow priest with say t2.5 or more or r14 gear is warrior win all the way. Reckless-pummel and just dps. Also keep in mind warrior is immune to fear also keep im mind u got stun resistance so in other words u r immune to cc against a shadow priest. You ppl compare warrior with maybe blue gear vs other classes. Wanna talk about pvp make comparison with a rank 14 geared warrior vs other rank 14 classes, in that case a shadow priest. No faps no pots nothing! Just ur raw class, and whatever class items u can get. Not to mention warrior has flask that can practicly keep healing through over a min…
Just enough to absorb the burst dmg from a warrior and reset the fight. Paladin heal to full, and mage nova blink.
agree that people always underestimate warriors, just as they overestimate warlocks.
the reason people have such a bad perception of them is obviously because of their lack of ability to connect with targets. this is virtually a none issue in bg’s either where you get support, are able to easily sneak up on people in tight areas, or targets aren’t able to run away because they’re surrounded by other people. people have no idea how to manage their charge and intervene usage and that’s why they get demolished. warrior only needs to connect for 2 seconds in good gear and they can kill. the one exception being shadow priest and frost mages because of their shields. but if you do manage to break the shield (engineering helps) you can quite easily kill your average mage and priest player.
as for warlocks zzzzz no survivability unless they play the boring 0 range 0 damage 0 utility spec or they’re insanely lucky and just happen to have the right pet out. just look at talent calculators and you’ll quickly see the problem with warlocks. we’re pigeon holed into damage or survivability and utility.

Exactly! Make sure to stick on top of ur target for 3 seconds! And while he try to get away… Just fear shout or intercept or grenade, combine that with fap or speed pot or insignia, along with warrior immunities that has by default and its a win for you. Also do keep in mind a warrior in duel always get to charge, as a rogue in duel always get to open, thats how fair duels and how tournament duels play out anyway… I do get that warrior gets hard time with walking away targets, but that is only with druid… with druid everyone gets hard time to get this class, is the escape artist class and its key playstyle for pretty much everything for a druid.
Reset the fight implies survival and long fights on both sides.
In other words, one hits or bursting doesn’t work in 1vs1.
Depending on PvP objectives, damage isn’t everything, AB base defending is the best example.
Teams with tanks defending win every round for a reason.
As warrior and Pala I have a choice, Arms or Retri to grind honor solo or defending like a boss to bring it home for my team. Bases are the only place with cover and LoS.
Good warriors would never run around like chicken in open field.
Thats right survive the burst prolong the fight waste warrior cooldowns cc and kill…
It’s funny everyone who argues that warriors are strong always throws in recklesness… yeah once every 30 minutes they might be able to beat someone…
When you consider all CCs including rupts and silence that actually avoids any damage when applied succesfully, they are strong. For that reason a warrior cannot have both. Strong avoidance and high damage output would turn warriors into Tank Canons. Which is why warriors didn’t get any spell reflect on top of their avoidance because the DPS output would be insane for Shield Tanks.
Play arms or fury = more damage = less absorb and avoidance = less survival.
Imo warrior is a fair balanced class with pros and cons each role.
Are you talking about SoD maybe? Blue geared SPriest can beat warrior in any duel.
Warrior loses all 1v1s in PvP.
Warrios is NO.1 only in PvE.
Pretty sure I can beat any warrior as Druid Healer too.
