Hello everybody! I started playing wow as a night elf. I like their look, but then I noticed the undead, and now I playing as undead warlock, I decided to make an alt warrior, but dont really like other races (ingame). I understand that orcs/humans are the best races for warriors, however I don’t want to create an orc warrior, I wanted to clarify whether the undead warriors are so weak in pve and pvp? are they that bad? I read that edgemaster gloves solve all the questions in pve, is it true? And how an undead warrior shows itself in pvp against other classes?

Cannibalism surely is good for levelling up and Shadow resistence can help since you need less items to reach certain caps.
In PvP and PvE, WotF becomes a bit redunant with the Warrior’s toolkit and the absence of weapon skills makes it harder to itemize in order to get to the hit cap.

Undead warriors are great, a niche but great nontheless.
Yes all warriors can break fear, but only one race can break charms (succubus) and that’s undead.
If you’re willing to invest the time an undead warrior cam be a beast.
Destroy the meta and play what you want.

WotF is the only way for a warrior to get out of Seduction by a Succubus in a 1on1 vs. a lock. Which will come in handy with t3, since locks tend to be popular in the absolute end game of Classic from what I’ve seen on youtube about PvPers from pservers.

Undead is very good in PvP, even for warriors. Edgemasters solve the weapon skill issue but they’re very expensive.

All good advice here, but an easier solution for PvE (if u dont have thousands of gold to spend on edgemasters) is to go 2H fury (actually pretty good on horde with totems) and get Obsidian edged blade for that wep skill. Also, depending on your guild situation, daggers with muggers belt might be an option.

Pretty much sums it up. Undead Warrior isn’t a bad choice, it isn’t the best-- if absolutely min-maxing is your style of gameplay. Warrior already have alot of ways to get out of Fear, so your Undead racial isn’t as strong on a Warrior compared to other classes which doesn’t have a ‘‘Get out of and get immune to’’ Fear, sleep and charm.
Will of Forsaken is good either way, sometimes as a Warrior in PvP you might get caught in the wrong stance and unable to use certain abilities to get out of Fear. So Will of Forsaken will come in handy PvP wise anyway, and to some extent PvE wise for bosses with Fear.
Indeed I didn’t count charm and since good locks can keep you standing still for ages WotF gets to be a Lock’s worst nightmare.
A good warrior reads ahead and almost never, if ever, gets caught in the wrong stance vs. a class that can fear. A proper warr only needs it vs. the succubus in a 1on1 vs. locks, in PvP.
You’re pretty much always in berserker stance as a dps warr in PvE, while as a tank you’ve got a dedicated fear ward or tremor totem at your disposal anyway.
WotF is mainly used against mind control effects in PvE, as a warrior.

People in 2004-2006 didn’t care this much about racial traits with class combo as people do now. In the end, if you’re not in the most minmax hardcore guild, you’ll probably be fine with just any class and race combo and have fun. Sure some are better but eh, what does it matter if you like the look more. Your own skill matters the most. Just like Takaminara said, destroy the meta and do what you want; it would be closer to the spirit of Classic WoW anyway.

Pick whatever race you enjoy the most. If it comes to the point where you are being a serious DPS player then there are ways around the racial weapon skill bonus. You can get swords with +swords on them. You can get 305 skill daggers very easily.

Im honestly sick of seeing 90% human/orc warriors out there. No hard feelings if anyone wants to min/max but still the variation is almost dead. So I decided to go NE. Probably the only warrior who can make flips with plate gear. Even if I have reduced hit from racials I can still be top 5 on the dps meter quite often. I compensate with some extra hitgear. Now im farming that OE blade.
