I Wish every Blizzard Employee involved in everything Warrior related in SoD,
the Same Experience in their Private Lives as Warriors have in Open World.

Warriors now are almost the same as warriors in original classic, most of our runes are completely passive with very little impact in PvP scenarios (other then warbringer but it shares the same rune slot as flagellation, which would be our best rune for burst damage), and almost none of the runes have any use in terms of defense other then rallying cry (enraged regen is a joke most of the time).
Not to mention some of the other huge problems that I faced while spamming many hours of WSG at lvl 40 in P2⊠charge and intercept while having a slow or being in a frost trap makes it so slow that by the time I get to my target they are no longer stunned, not to mention if it resists.
Another huge issue is wielding a two handed weapon, swinging at a cloth character and see âMissâ 3x times in a row, only to press mortal strike eventually that gets parried by a mage? What is even better, hitting a shaman with a shield or a warlock and dealing less than 200 damage because of their insane amount of armor⊠unironically hitting a warrior is the best choice because they canât get away and take more damage than most other classes when it should be the opposite.
And before people come here and cope with the âgear will fix it, get more staminaâ, no, gear and more stamina will not fix it because it is fundamentally broken and not just number wise. And even number wise, if get 500-600 more hp it will do exactly nothing because people will get gnomeregan gear and do more damage as well. The toolkit is lacking massively compared to any other class.
And that will all change once you get raid gear from this tier, like it always does, because warrior is the best scaling class in the game, by far.
Warriors require setup time and prolonged group fights where rage regen balances out
Take damage = more rage but if that taking damage means you get one shot there is no use for that rage, we canât spend it fast enough to make a difference
And in the end all that happens is we either miss/dodge/parry our abilities and get smoked with abiltities/spells that basically never miss. And anything you can do to avoid damage we lose our rage and our offensive, and anything that makes us deal more damage makes us take more damage than we gain.
Itâs basically setup to fail when there is no pocket healer, which was fine and balanced before but clearly doesnât work in SOD.
blizzard need to add in sheild reflex rune in or something so we have a little chance, also did you know consumed by rage is broken for fury as it doesnt stack with enrage talant making it void whitch it so stupid!!!
You mean âSpell reflectâ? if so yes it can make a difference
But only if itâs just a simply press of a button, no requiring to switch stances or shield. Else all it does is just ruin our damage output so the net gain is still not in our favor
Thatâs in the end the issue with warriors they have a little cluncky mechanics with stance dancing and weapon swapping which is fine as long as casters actually have to cast stuff, but since they are all just instant casting our down time from switching stances, losing rage and losing swing timers from swapping back and forth is actually killing us.
Like I said in phase 1, you canât just boost damage to all range/mage classes just for sake of PVE, because this will have catastrophic impact on PVP. If blizzard had thought a little more about bringing in spells from the new expansions, they should have adjusted health pools and armor, not just inflated damage to obscene levels to please the PVE community. But again⊠âit is what it isâ
Weâre not at classic anymore. P1 I was full BiS and still felt terrible in pvp. Btw the gnome gear isnât that great and thereâs not that more strength or stamina than on vanilla gear, compared to the P1 stuff with the Addspell score of T1 vanilla.
And as it was already said, warrior where never strong out of pve. You canât consider pvp frag movie with 3 healbot, 3 lines of buffs and lucky crit on ungeared ppl. The warrior life pvp is 99,9% no healer because they want to be dps, no self sustain, no control. If you can charge in the back a midlife cloth, then youâll be happy. Warrior is the counter of nothing in 1 by 1 and itâs not normal.
ATM melee hunter can easily 1 vs 2 arms warriors.
And weâre not even good as tank anymore.
Thereâs nothing to defend, the devs had being cuckolded by a warrior gladiator 100%.
At this point iâm also wondering, they set out to do the whole warriors less OP and the rest more OP
Which I assume was purely ment for PVE?
So what about PVP? clearly warriors have always needed some love there right?
And with everything they have given warriors in SOD they should be MUCH MUCH better yet they managed to with just a few runes completely break other classes.
Perhaps there just needs to be a clear difference in stamina between classes again, warrior having a bigger health pool could also solve some issues
Not sure what things are at atm but donât all classes basically end up at about the same HP with gear? While warlocks, mages, priests and basically any class with instant healing of some sort have basically a much higher health pool.
No, it is not going to fix it. The major problems are in the toolkit and way melee attacks work, and for the same argument you could say casters will also get raid gear and unlike original classic, these items are stacked with spell power.
For me, the only issues were mobility, rage starvation and survivability.
Mobility was changed, but we have to sacrifice a rune for it.
Rage starvation, is hit or mis, literally.
Survivability? Even equipping a shield does nothing. A rogue just hits through our armour like a hot knife through butter.
There are moments where I am a God⊠if Iâm supported by 2 to 3 healers that is. Itâs kinda funny how the two days before phase 2 launched where they buffed WSG with 25% more stamina, that my enjoyment greatly improved from that alone.
That is the biggest problem with warrior and the perception of a class overall. Everyone says warrior is OP and thats why we dont get that much exiting things. But warrior only gets OP after acquiring big gear and that usually comes at the end of patch/season. So basically most of the game progression we are weak while everyone having fun, and only when we âfinish the gameâ we get OP - right when its time to quit until next patch.
Thats a big problem with this rage mechanic. It should be normalized somehow so we are good (not OP) for entire game not just the last strech
WoW is not single player game. When was any balance around 1vs1? Lets make gathering balanced also? Geared warrior in group content will be supaa strong. People know it for 20 years.

Gear will not fix it as the problems are not related to gear but to the lack of toolkit. People need to stop coping and being delusional thinking that some more stam, str and agi would fix anything when the class is unplayable in too many scenarios and have you looked at spell power items from the raids, at all?
itâs not about balance, itâs about warriors getting dogpoo pve runes all the time, warbringer is the only one that matters, Enraged Regeneration doesnât even help when you are getting clapped for 1k, so is useless Rallying Cry
Not a single dev plays a warrior, if they did, they wouldnât award a mace for pvp event.
Itâs like getting Icecream, but they are spinach flavour.
