so many more than true arguments, but hey…
blizz doesn’t care OBVIOUSLY and thats all there is to it.
at this point im convinced warrior is absolute trash on purpose so people can just farm them in open world to feel better and cover the actual bad situatation of pvp
cant be that bad when u kill these guys in 3 seconds without them being able to hit you even. LIKE A GOD ! and get a B**er from it
Yes casters also get better gear, no they don’t scale like warriors.
That right there is the problem. The question is: how many warrior are prepared to sacrifice being OP at the end of the phase for being better at the start of it.
You are throwing out blank statements with 0 backing to it. Please enlighten us because it doesn’t matter how many people tell you otherwise, how is a warrior WITH Gnomeregan gear will do when EVERYONE has Gnomeregan gear compared to now.
Tell us what is exactly going to change with warriors doing a bit more damage and having a bit more stamina than now. ( Altho I’m using some high stam gear and a few raid pieces will literally decrease my hp to gain a bit of dmg).
I would really like you to list damage and HP values that are going to change that you are this adamant on saying that warriors WITH the current toolkit is going to be OP.
Now are we talking solo PVP, group PVP or PVE? Because no, warriors will in all likelyhood not be great at solo PVP. But it’s not exactly any secret that warriors in classic scale exceedingly well, more so than any other class due to among other things how your resource works. I will eat my shoe if warriors aren’t doing top DPS in raids and demolishing people in PVP with the help of a pocket healer or two by the end of the phase. But if roaming the world doing solo PVP is your dream you’re playing the wrong class.
The post’s name " Warriors in PvP " and my initial comments were all focused on BG-s (specifically WSG), solo or premade Q does not make a lot of difference as to what you can do on a warrior and having a pocket healer (which I had in premades) did not do much because there is still a massive amount of issues with dealing damage (not number wise but those are horrendous as well) but also connecting with targets, generating rage, all on a chance to miss/parry/dodge which they do way too many times, warrior’s own toolkit doesn’t offer any solution to deal with casters. The toolkit is broken, that is the main issue. Numbers they can tune to a degree.
Agree with the dedicated healer part. Warrior alone is ez kill, however with a priest in his pocket, he can destroy 5 people, seen it in WSG and STV as well.
I have same problem with rogue, some might say he is OP, yes in few scenarios where team does not help my target, I can get some kills (it’s my skill that prevents me from winning in 1v1).
However, in most of the fights if I attack someone I get charged by 4 other people dealing insane spell damage, get kited, stunned, feared, and unable to move or escape with vanish or sprint dispel.
Everything you wrote down are valid points in STV/WSG, almost all classes are better multiple times better suited for those events than warriors or rogues are.
this is because raptor strike is not normalized atm, and the runes that make it proc are def not balanced properly.
on the warrior subject, as a tank rogue im eating warriors left and right, along with palas and hunters. the 40 energy mutilate combined with a 6 sec cd/duration disarm means that they are pretty much not able to kill me, even with a lvl gap and retaliation used.
hunters are dead meat as well if i close the gap, with the disarm they can do nothing, and their cats are way weaker than serpent pet was last phase
Yeah tried that and you know what happened? the same thing, charge in get one 200s mortal strike and get got vanished by 2 shadow priests instant ability. yep 2,1k hp on a plate wearer got completely globaled by 2 priest without the chance to get any heal.
Priests get dispersion, an ability that reduces all damage taken by 90% PLUS regenerates mana with a 2 minute CD and we are stuck with an ability from 2004, Shield wall which has a 30 minute CD, requires defensive stance, requires a shield, only reduces damage taken by 75% and it shares cool down with retaliation and recklessness. Last stand isn’t an option because its in the prot tree.
