It’s amazing how the honeymoon period can really affect people’s thoughts about an expansion.
Personally my guild is struggling to get raiders to do mythic + , they are just raid logging.
The amount of people logging in general has dropped.
Players who come on discord are generally playing something else.
So are we just in the wow anniversary waiting room at this point to “save” us from utter sheer boredom ? When will S2 drop you think ?
Because of delves there is no need to do low M+ for gear.
M+ are generally punishing so you end up struggling for no reward.
Once you get over the “hump” where M+ starts rewarding you again you aren’t doing it for gear drops but crests.
So all in all its pretty unsatisfactory, it came out of the blocks strong, threw delves at people which they thought they loved (they loved the gear, the delves themselves are meh).
Then the brakes screeched on and here we are, people playing D4 or Ragnarok.
Man I WISH we’d get get more than/then(?) 5 delves keys (not counting the ones from echos) per week. I also wish it had more advanced mechanics and better/higher scaling then just “more HP + more dmg” per tier level.
It’s refreshing to just run it after suffering M+.
Tank specs do trivialize it tho but then again, there’s always Zekvir ?? to humble us.
It’s all because of mythic +
People have had a hard wake up call. The gearing is a lot slower too. They should probably make a +9 give myth track loot out the vault.
Blizz will make the changes but they need to be quicker. I will stick around. But a lot of other people won’t.
If I remember rightly massive nerfs came in s1 DF to all the dungeons after a month or so.
People who would go for just 5+ have found the game-mode and enjoying what they do .
The people that are for challenge +10 etc don’t even bother with Delves.
Also isn’t the top 1000 and always the Hc/Mythic raiders that have the benefits or obtaining better gear so instantly they always be the one that ranks in Mythic+ ?
Majority of the people that only do Mythic+ are in the range of +7 up to 11 max 12 atm.
Mythic raiders push close to 14~15.
Many of the post you complain about the Easy obtaining gear in Delves…
SHould you complain about Mythic Raider obtaining the top spot in Mythic + and having easy in this Mythic+ ?
They’re just trying to make money, don’t expect them to be honest. When the anniversary hits and people start doing a little research they’ll be positive again to get the clicks. Round and round we go.
Remember that a lot of the time, content creators will push things that resonate with the community in order to get views whether they actually feel that way or not.
Hmm? Last I saw him recommended on YouTube, Preach was positive about the raid and giving constructive criticism on what is otherwise a well done thing, that being Zekvir.
Sounds like you’re just not having fun. I disagree with many things that game is doing but I’m certainly not calling the expansion bad. It’s a good wow experience on launch for 1-2 months of sub time for me and that’s great.
If you want wow to be your forever game stop looking up guides, read quests in game, etc. because no game can fight the modern player’s obsession of optimisation.
Personally I’m still enjoying TWW, but then again I don’t do mythics.
It’s seems to me that most of the negativity is coming from that part of the community due to dissatisfaction.
Looking at the General Discussion area of the forums is just a long list of people complaining about mythic Dungeons, to the point where it needs its own section.
It’s unfair to brand the expansion “bad” because of this point alone
well now it sucks because they literally lied about everything they made TWW about " listening to players???" Feral druids can 2 shot in arenas BLIZZZ since the launch of the expansion and its still not nerfed or other things buffed. How about u listen to the players???
I stopped listening to youtubers years ago, they all just ride whatever wave is most popular, because more clicks = more money. Even the ones that used to have a reputation for being genuine have fallen to this level. Clickbaiting sellouts, every one of them.
And what when season 2 drops? Your character progression will reset and you will be funneled into yet another braindead seasonal grind until you become aware that it’s the same old thing we’ve had for the past 5 expansions. This is WoW nowadays, no meaningful content or character progression only recycled scalable garbage where it all comes down to doing the same thing again and again.
No youtuber, especially the ones yoy mentioned are going to say anything seriously bad about a topic they realy on for an income.
Bell u are? Can be pretty vocal about things but wow is his bread and butter so will never bite the hand that feeds them. Same goes for asmongold. He portrays himself as the everyday bloke. Him and %99.999 of his audience have nothing in common anymore as he is now a multi millionaire now. Asmon sold out a long time ago. As did bellular.
What honest reviews of the game? Go to the indivuals who only have a few thousand or even less. They are not driven by google ad money.
