I just wanna stress how useless it is of blizz to remove the water walking ability of the striders. We’ve spent hours/days/weeks to get the rep needed to get them mounts and now they are useless. Oh, yea right…the tokens. Guess what u don’t get them til ur 100… and u really cant use more then one token… and I happens to like leveling new alts. ie NOT lvl 100 by a long shot AND that is the whole point with my new alts. You have removed from me what I earlier earned via a lot of work. You TOOK something away without replacement. SHAME! No wonder ppl leave wow with this sort of respect.

What? I only got mine last week. 
Its just like any other mount now, without any water walking talent at all.
Yeah I don’t understand why they couldn’t just let them keep that passive ability… who seriously cares if there are people who’ll then use the anti-daze thing(or whatever other mount equip they want to stack) and only use the striders on land.
But no, best to make the entire mount useless now.

I’m not sure, but i think u can buy that thingy from nat pagle with a 100+ char and send to low lvl alts?

You got the mount equipement for water walking thanks to having that mount, sounds usefull to me.

Blizzard shouldn’t avoid making changes to the game just because it’ll upset people who earned something the change will effect.
The water walking mount is hideous. I hated it and still had to use it or at least have it bound for when I came to water.
At least now I can use any mount.

As I said, u cant use it till ur 100 and then u cant use it if u wanna use something else on the token slot. At least I got the mounts ONLY to get water walking abilities on ALL my alts, not only DKs. With the ‘steal’ I cannot water walk on alla alts anymore unless I pay for it (again and this time in gold). It WAS there and they removed it.

Just buy the [Anglers’ Water Striders] BoA mount equipment from Nat Pagle, then send them to your lowbie alts. They’re only 40g and your eligible characters got one posted to them anyway.

I know that u can buy the tokes etc and is not my protest. The fact they do NOT auto give this to ALL alts that had this possible before. If they absolutely had the urge and/or need to change this, the obvious level to receive this free would OFC be 20, when u can use mounts, and not 100.

The waterwalking mount was a unique reward that lasted through expansions.
It was a thing that belonged to an MMORPG catogary.
Players needed more things like it, not less.
Working hard to unlock a perk that lasts you for a long time is something vital to RPGs, just like levels, stats, gear, items, mounts, pets.

Then protest to Blizzard. There are many ways to do it without coming to the forums to tell people their answers are and always were useless. What’s the point in telling us if you’re not even remotely interested in any kind of workaround we could suggest?
I must admit I extremely rarely use forums. SO i realize I can be totally off and apologize if I am. But, my understanding of this is that blizz DO read this forums…i.e this is a complaint directed to them. At least I see blue posts that I assumed are blizz responses. IF I AM off, totally, it really is a shame if all posts are supposed to be positive and /or objective driven. I have no objective with this except to stress how I feel about it, just as I said above. What fora do u suggest I should use instead? This is after all blizz official support option.

I am under the impression they are happy with Twitter, but you could also find an official e-mail adress and send to, or go to the suggestion box ingame and write there 
But Dahlia wasn’t as much telling you not to use the forums, but you have to remember a lot of people are here and they will reply to your post, and every suggestion they gave you have been dismissed.
As mush as for wanting a response from a blue, I’m afraid this is one of the things that you least can expect here - The blues here are more moderators 
You can still use your waterstrider to walk on water if you want. No one’s stopping you, you can also use any other mount.

A freebie is what it says on the patch. When was it? I didn’t get one, but maybe I got the mount after the patch.
The item itself is 40 - 45g from Nat Pagle. If you didn’t get it, I assume you never had a water strider to begin with? If not, then you’ll need to rep some with The Anglers in Krasarang Wilds.
