I am still wary about this.
I have no trust in Blizzard ever since pre-patch info was revealed, and i have no reason to begin believing in them again because of single cinematic trailer.
Not after years and years of night elves being punching bags.
If anything, what would surprise me least would be if right after this, horde still were winning against them, and only lost because glorious human knights charged in and won the day.
There is no way Golden and those alike her are going to not take opportunity to have Anduin steal the spotlight.
But again, I am born pessimist.

While this may be true, I cannot recall any time previous where there had been such an outrage.
To make up for that, Blizzard had to change tactics. Thus, while this maybe just one trailer, it was aired in connection with Blizzcon and therefore it can be assumed somewhat that is has some impact on the overall story-line.

We have seen plenty of -impactful- moments happening through the years that literally whizzled out eventually, or were placed on bench for years before anyhow coming to be relevant.
And I still do not believe blizzard changed tactics, just that people caused enough of noise to reach their golden towers.
Making gesture or two in attempt to appease people has been practice of many industry leaders and politics for as long as history reaches.
The trailer was a step in the right direction. Only problem is, it was Malfurion single-handedly kicking some !@#, which we already know he's capable of, since he is the strongest druid in the history.
I would have like to see the NE resistance, as a whole, kick some serious $%^. That way, I would know the NE spirit is still alive, and it's not just 1-2 people carrying the rest on their backs.
Still, I'm hopeful. Hopeful that Blizzard won't forget about the NEs and Tyrande after patch 8.1, right? They won't forget them for another 14 years, right? RIGHT?

They wont, because wow wont last another 14 years at this rate of affairs.

But it is only because of those two people and their godly powers that the Horde didn't just simply take the Night elf lands sooner.
Night elves are fierce and powerful but they are not used to real war, due to their peaceful nature.
Sure Ten Thousand years ago or something they had the experience and some few thousand years ago too.
But Today? They are a shadow of their glory like most elf species.
Malfurion and Tyrande is the only reason the Night elves weren't overran sooner.
Well that and Thrall wanted to avoid war with the Alliance.
Both of them are powerful enough to be an obstacle for the Horde Machine, granted without future aid even those two would fall, after god knows how many soldiers death.
That was before Tyrande's Transformation as the Night warrior.
Her power is through the roof now, she's probably even more powerful than her husband now. (in Raw power)
I'd look forward to see more had enough forest king and Queen action.
I like it.
At first I awaited a huntress on her panther. It is great to see Night elves for the first time in WoW acing like we knew them.
I am really happy with this for Nigth elven fans (if they are).
Now lets Tyrande also shine.

Not so far ago I was watching War of the Ancients video on youtube. On this epic moment of the video:
https://youtu.be/P0iKFASurHk?t=272
- I catched myself thinking, that this is it, this is the real beginning of Azeroth story. This is where all began. And I was proud that all began from Children of the Stars!
But then I was thinking, how come Kaldorei were defeated so easily, in 2 weeks of the War of Thorns, just in single pre-patch event? Why Blizzard allowed a race with such rich legacy to almost extinct?
But after watching Terror of Darkshore, after reading all the comments from Blizzard on Blizzcone, after watching 8.1 spoilers, I understood, that Night Elves are far from end. No sire, this is just a beginning.
In fact, they send an army to aid Alliance in ZulDazar raid, while they are open their own big Warfront, while Stormwind still filled with NE refugees, while there still many NE cities across the world, while still many NE are neutral... so there still plenty of NE in this world.
So let's hope NE will rise. Let's hope that we will get a new home. Let's hope that we still see some NE styled forests in future. Let's hope that Blizzard will give us a new capital city.
Because if we will stop hoping, than Sylvanas will win. If you will stop playing, than your Night Elf character will die... =)

Aww, so cute, night elfies finally got their moment. Malfurion owning some hordies, scary stuff. But in the end, the forsaken will still eat your corpses before being ressurected as one of us.

How do you exactly resurrect someone that you have just eaten? :o

You plague this Highborne's eyes.
This Highborne has lived in the lavish city of Zin'Azshari. Do you truly believe you are worthy of looking at me? Walking corpses...since when did anybody say you should have a voice. You should all be not seen and not heard.
How do you exactly resurrect someone that you have just eaten? :o
Smelly business...
I guess you did see the skellies that arose at the lordearon gates.
At this point, I just want to chain Sylvanas up and throw her to the nightelves so they can get justice.

Let them have their fun for a while. But by the time that Patch 8.2 comes out, let it be known that they are a thing of the past.

You have no right to decide who should get the kill on Sylvanas.
If anything night elves should have heavy involvement in 8.2 as well... I mean... Azshara... lmao.
And by that logic Arctur neither do you.

Who says he deserves even logic?
Not this Highborne from the grand Zin'Azshari.

If that's the case, then Thrall and AU Grommash should have led the battle against Kil'jaeden in Patch 7.2. Did you see any Orc in Patch 7.2?
Besides, Tyrande and Malfurion are busy not getting any meaningful result in Darkshore to deal with Azshara. But do not worry, thankfully the Kul Tiran Fleet and the rest of the Alliance, who do not follow their selfish whims, won't ignore that ugly fish.
05/11/2018 18:46Posted by TelriemAnd by that logic Arctur neither do you.
Except that it is not me who decided who should get the kill on Sylvanas.
05/11/2018 14:48Posted by AradinaI am not entirely for the idea that Tyrande, Malfurion and the Night Elves slaughtering civilians. To me, that just doesn't sit right.
I'm not sure the Night Elves have done something similar before, but given what they've been through as a race recently it'd make sense to me for them to get a little stabby. They're certainly capable of shooting first and asking questions later, as Grom's Orcs found out in the Third War, and if the Wardens are anything to go by they're also capable of becoming single-minded and bloodthirsty too. As serene, composed and philosophical as they are, they're still elves underneath it all, hence still prideful, and they're more than a little "wild" into the bargain.
It certainly wouldn't make sense for 100% of the Night Elf race to go on a killing spree - many of them hold Anduin in high regard, don't blame him for Teldrassil, and seem content to follow his lead in the war, plus it'd be unreasonable for them all to place pride and vengeance ahead of common sense. Having a rogue faction go nuts, though? And having that rogue faction form a nucleus for others of different races who likewise want to avenge themselves against the Horde with no regard for justice or common sense? That I can totally see.
Also, I doubt Anduin would start to cry. I think he'll realize what's going on and how Tyrande is feeling, cause honestly, Anduin doesn't strike me as someone who starts to cry when he's being yelled at. Yes, he is sensitive. Yes, he has emotions. But that's not a bad thing. I think this is something that Anduin can learn from, and get some experience as his future years of King of the Alliance.
Again, IF this is how things will turn.
I think so too, to be honest. In all fairness such a cutscene would be far more compelling if it didn't try to throw Anduin under the bus, and actually made an attempt to display the merits of his preferred approach - because honestly, as much as I want to see a part of the Alliance go off-message and start smashing things, I think Anduin's way is far more likely to lead to peace and stability in the long run considering the Horde will never be ultimately destroyed. Tyrande and Anduin argue, Anduin defends himself, maybe Genn steps forward to try and talk Tyrande down and defend his king - but she's having none of it, neither is Malfurion, and when one of them says something deliberately designed to hurt Anduin personally he gets upset and starts yelling back, causing them to walk off... then the killings in Ashenvale start...
Man this would be so effing cool. It's a shame it'll never happen :(
There is something weird about her. Everyone is pointing at her, she is on top of the wanted list. But have you thought about the motive, the drive force thats behind it all? We know that Alleria's whispers went crazy when near her. Void infused Alleria getting whispers demanding to take her down. What should we get from that? We will see very soon, when the boy king offers you another lie.
