First of all, I apologize if this is not the correct place to post a CLASSIC WOW post. I tried but it seems like the Classic posts are disabled or it just won’t let me post anything. So I’m a bit lost on where to put this.
Please do something. People have been complaining about lags since the last 1-2 weeks. It’s only getting worse. I might even forget about the queues and the excuse of “no hardware/software will solve this problem” for a Classic server that has dozen times less population than it had in 2008 and way less than Retail has. Given it’s 2022 and the amount of players that play Classic isn’t even close to what is considered “high population” for a MMO, like I said, in 2022, this feels just awful.
But taking 3-5 minutes to log in to just take 1-2 mins to turn in a quest or open mail and get DC’d again, being this EVERY SINGLE DAY, not being able to burn the weekly saves since the planned raid has to be delayed or even left without as most people can’t log in without being kicked, not being able to loot items, wiping because of weird lags that leave the world paralyzed in time for 1 minute and when it comes back you’re just DEAD.
This is just too much. We want answers and solutions. We’re paying a subscription to get what we’ve been offered.
Most of us even paid a 6-month subscription to get exclusive features. Yes, nobody forced us to do so. But giving the 6-month reward and right afterwards not caring about if people can’t even play so they can’t unsub to save their money to play when it’s AT LEAST PLAYABLE, feels really, really… you know.
We want solutions right now. It’s not even 2 weeks from launch and we can’t literally play.
At least let us stop our sub, give us a free month or solve this. We’re literally paying for not being able to play.
Yeah it’s starting to get out of hand now. Specially not hearing a word about anything from blizz. This event that’s going on currently has made it even more unplayable.
There is no way people are going to play wrath release when they can’t do anything in game. We think it’s bad now just wait until the 26th. The game will be unplayable.
I wouldn’t even mind as much if it was like TBC, when lag was obvious due to overcrowding in the Dark Portal, and you could hardly quest but you still could. And at least you had dungeon farming, when dungeons didn’t have lag as it seems like instance servers weren’t shared with the actual world servers like Outland or Azeroth.
But now lag happens everywhere. Just wiped right before Rivendare farming his mount cause everything froze and when it came back I lost 10k HP in a second and died.
Yup had the same thing. As a holy pala if I loot a mob and walk away for around 20,40 seconds before I can do anything. I’ll spam a skill to heal the tank and it just does the animation and locks up until the item finally enters my bag then the skill will go off people are dead and everything just teleports.
If your post is about Classic (level 60 wow), then you are in the correct forum.
If your post is about TBC/WotLK then you should move your post: click the Pencil icon (on the character who made the post) and move it into the Wrath Classic section. I guess it is Wrath related, since Classic (lcvl 60 …) usually have no lag, queues or connection issues.

i havent even reached max yet and i dont really see why i should with the state of the game right now, this is only going to get worse aswell with the release of wrath approaching, and not to be funny or anything but i dont think this is one of the #somechanges people were hoping for. the game isnt playable unless you play between 2-8am its a joke
Yeah, I’m in the same situation. I play on Firemaw and I’ve had a lot of fun in the pre-patch but now I got to a point where I come back from work, log in, kill one mob and if it takes me 5 years to loot it, I log out and go play something else. I kinda lost my hope, to be honest, and if they don’t fix it till release I’m planning to quit because I’m not going to transfer and lose all people I play with on the server regularly.
