overall maybe, but, and that’s the problem here, only Blizzard sees the overall numbers.
Everyone else sees what’s going on on their servers.
On some servers Horde still dominates, and on others the alliance dominates.
That means: no one has fun, and the alliance gets loot blown up their bum for nothing because overall their numbers are lower.
It’s an incentive, not compensation, and that’s why warmode is a mess now, this is why alliance needs a bigger carrot now to make them turn it on, Ion admited it in the last Q&A.
Servers don’t matter in Warmode. It’s all about the shard you’re in. Since Wednesday I’ve encountered shards overrun with Alliance or with Horde, but I’ve also encountered some more balanced ones.
Next week the Alliance will get a 885 item instead of a 400 one. One normal ilvl item doesn’t seem that bad to me.
Wednesday mined more salt than the Khewra Salt Mines, and I admit that I mined some myself as well. But I think it was needed to remind a lot of players of what Warmode should be about; wpvp.

Yes, but it was the only way to get them in there. It was the nuclear option, but it seems to be working.

It just switched the risk free bonus to the other side on many shards. That’s not solving the problem, that’s just replacing it with another one.
Blizz already said that Warmode numbers are shifting towards a more balanced state. And you’ll always have some shards getting dominated by one faction. That’s not going to change. But now it won’t be Horde 90% of the time.
I think we just have to see where things go for a bit. It has only been 3 days since the change.

If you don’t raid, you can get your raid-level gear somewhere else.
If you don’t pet battle you can do missions for tokens and still buy the rewards.
the days of having to do an activity for the relevant reward are long gone, so the point you’re trying to make is irrelevant.
I don’t necessarily like pvp, but I DID enjoy my pvp realm. I don’t enjoy warmode because it means grouped up alliance everywhere because now suddenly there is a reward (which really is compensation but nobody gets it and the developers are stupid to think players would ever treat it that way)
Boohoo the alliance had it bad the first weeks of the expansion. Suck it up. So tired of this ‘conversation’

yeah but raid level ilvl isnt raid reward 
if you dont raid, you wont get raid titles, pets, mogs, mounts, achis etc.
idk what pet battle tokens u’re talking about.
and no warmode doesnt mean “grouped up alliance” it means, it went from hordemode to warmode, and people like you and others who dont want to PvP are fumming and barking that they can no longer get their 10% buff for free, EVEN THO they’re majority.
the only person who’s boohooing is you and likes of you tho Im not frustrated, sad, angry or anything of that sort, im enjoying my 30% :))

I had warmode since day 1 it launched till late november or something, until it became so un-bearable that I couldnt enter dungeon for half hour because nolifers were 30 man camping entrance.

I did suck it up 
I turned off warmode and couldn’t care less about the compensation. Only thing I miss is the tension of the alliance nearby going to attack me or no.
Every time a fellow horde complains about alliance having this buff, alliance responds always with the same non-argument; ‘Horde had it easy before’ ‘Horde had warfront first’
It’s always the same, and as pointed out before; wanting things to be unfair for Horde now because you feel treated unfair before makes you as bad as all the Horde that has been ganking alliance at the start of expac.

Im pretty constructive, i’ve said it 200 times now, one side gets majority players other gets a bigger reward. its not an alliance buff, its a game buff for faction with less amount of players.
