Serenity doesn’t even heal half of people’s hp.

healers are undertuned its just that this guy was able to keep me alive vs ret hunter for almost two minutes straight while i was completely afk

(The screenshot is also of a fight that lasted 10 seconds(not the 2 minutes claimed), which makes me think it’s just a doctored screenshot with ray of hope while they’re giganuking or some other thing that obviously doesn’t actually happen in pvp.
Is there a reason why you won’t show the numbers the spells do? I strongly believe so. There’s no way a holy priest heals 315 million in 10 seconds.)

Lock dies through guardian spirit(procs it) + swap and I use a serenity and then he’s dead before next GCD is available.
Yeah, sure, can heal it. Total dps that round from the enemy: 3.14 mill from ww monk, 2.18 mill from dk, 1.2 mill from fistweaver over a 1 minute 20 second round.
“Just heal it 4head”. There’s no way a healer can heal that, he survived the first go because I had apotheosis + gs and he had defensives but then he died.

edit: also lol, just noticed that lock is the same very lock that was the lock in the shuffle I played.
Because the dps are using cds to do these 1 shots healers also have cds to instant top people if you think healing is fine right now then you are part of the problem you can currently play healer/dps in 2s walk into the middle of the map vs double dps and just pve heal to win with cds to stop every single kill attempt.
Ok, tell me how much does a serenity heal with guardian spirit up on the target?
Hint: It doesn’t heal people for all of their hp. It doesn’t stop someone from getting nuked into oblivion between GCDs because you can only heal after the damage has been done.
Pretty much everything that can heal somewhat has a heavy CD or proc/several spells combination attached to it.
Meanwhile you have retris that just send wake of ashes every 30 sec and destroys people.
Even if blizzard doubled our hp, it would still be unhealable. People would still die too fast even if we were in the 30 millions of hp. I’ve had people go from 100% to almost dead, proccing my guardian spirit and then I swap them and they die within 3 seconds of the swap. That’s just absurd. Doubling the hp pool wouldn’t make that kind of damage healable, the heals are too weak, we’re talking people doing closer to 30 million damage in the span of a few seconds, no healer can keep up with that. Serenity baseline heals for 5.6 million in pvp, further reduced by dampening, which starts at 10%, so 5.1 million. Guardian spirit increases this healing by 60%, so you’d get like a 8 million heal with guardian spirit. That’s nowhere close to enough when people are dropping from 100%-0% in the timespan of a GCD. It wouldn’t be enough even if the hp was doubled.
And that’s why I said nerf damage but also nerf healing dampening should not be the deciding factor like it has been all of TWW and most of dragonflight.
You was complaining about 8-10 million crits serenity can crit that with guardian up you also have abilities like life swap.
I like how no one talks about devastation evoker that does the mostt absurd dmg and as a melee u cant do sh1t to him cuz he flies all the time and survival hunter which is also megabusted but few ppl play it, well tbh ive faced a lot of them these days so the fotm rerollers must have caught up

quick reminder the numbers are from a game vs assa rogue so there is a 24% mortal there
now i suggest u go check your gear as i assume you are playing in season 1 honor gear if you are getting these numbers u were referring to
fun fact is there was a moment while priest rayed dh at 20%, ray was negative at 2 seconds left, i coil priest for 1 global(dr coil) and with the serenity he managed to get in the last 0.5 of the ray dh went from 20% to 80%
not overtuned.
