It’s absolutely insane to wait half an hour for a queue. If Alliance won’t queue then Horde should be allowed to fill.
Honestly, I gotta ask just a generalized question as someone who doesn’t pvp a ton, why isn’t there cross-faction AND cross-realm BG’s? Does it really matter if you’re on the same team as ally/horde or facing off against faction members of your team? Like Classic warts and all yadda yadda I get it. But isn’t this wart especially big and pulsating and leaking puss?
Just seems like low pop servers or imbalanced factions are going to get screwed over by the whole thing.
After watching how STV event works, I would have to say no, it doesn’t matter x)
As alliance I have near instant invite when queue for an Battleground, but horde have to wait more.
Did you asked yourself what can cause that?
Why you think that making it cross-faction will fix something? I think it will make it even worse because it is nonsense, and the reasons alliance do not want to participate will be still there, giving em one more reason. You can end up horde fight with each other, which is totally normal and make me come to an idea: Why do not make Horde vs Horde queue, you are not first asking for that.

When we had p1, both factions had the best pvp specs.
In p2, you are on fire. Is there any other class with freedom, 6sec range instant slow, insane HP, 10% dmg mitigation to carry those flags in WSG? What did I missed yeah the ghost wolf and grounding on top.
Dont forget totemic projection, it is sooo goood in pvp.
It is your phase enjoy it! same faction BG will most probably come sooner or later for you as the balance from p1 is broken and most probably will not be fixed in SOD…
Or just balance the game so everyone can enjoy it. 99-1% realms with Horde-ally is boring garbage.
Blizzard has just broken the queue somehow. If you queue solo it takes 30min, but if you queue 2man its like 2min.
Its simply broken, and doesn’t work like Blizzard says it does. Its same as runes not doing what their tooltips say they should do. Or its the same as STV layers “keeping party together”. Sometimes system don’t simply work like Blizzard claims they do, and they take their sweet time to fix things, once they manage to notice and admit their systems are not working as intended.
Because… far more Horde players play solo queue?

How exactly is waiting 40 min in queue better? Solo queue is literally unplayable right now.
ally have instant queue on solo but terrible winrate, if u want quick queue as horde u need to group up

balance shamans. alliance is not gonna queue en mass if they know its auto loss if they face 3 or more shamans
edit: you cant understand the gravity of the problem untill you join ab as ally and see half ur raid be wiped on bs from the first chain lighting
If you don’t enjoy waiting you can always reroll alliance and have instant ques, because queue times will keep increasing more and more for horde players.
Shamans + hardiness + will of the forsaken.
Otherwise everyone can enjoy their 2-hour queues.
i play both ally and horde. hardiness and will you can work around, and they are a minor inconvenience at best. shamans are a massive problem tho if they are stacked
And I have 1 min If I log with a friend, it is clearly bugged. Anyway, I would wait 40 minutes for proper BG and do WPVP in the meantime, than play again HvH with that stupid mask.
Things like a shorter queue motivate people to play that faction, and it helps with balance. And I am here to play World of Warcraft again, not some kind of Warcraft lunapark. But what would I expect from BE.
None should work around and invent some sort of magic to work around any passive racial ability to play the game.

Alliance is quequeing en masse. Horde just has an overpopulated pvp playerbase because the racials are better. Reap what you sow.
I’m fine with cross faction bgs though. See how fun it is to play into orc resist fiesta, Will of the forsaken, warstomp, shamans…
Imo they should just make a runeslot on ring or something that allows you to pick any racial you want, fixed.
