We need more action Bar ⌨!

I know i’m absolutly not the only one in that case and the issue started already in Mist of Pandaria.

Actually in order to get everything bind for shadowland, i need in total of 18 new binds on my keyboard.

Keybind have been already in discussion when passing from MoP to Warlord and so the pruning of abilities happened.

The issue wasn’t because we got too much spell and we were lost.
The real issue is we are missing keybinds to do action in WoW.
Actually i’m only using 20% of my keyboard capacity for wow but i can’t use more due to the lack of keybind.

I’m already using Bottom Left Bar / Bottom Right Bar / Right bar / Right bar 2 on bind but they are already full.

So why do i got already my bar already full.
Well i’m a PvP player and PvE player too. So i need merely all the spell of PvE but honor talent aswell.

As Shadowland is coming as MM hunter we have new spell like tranquilize shot, volley, kill shot etc.

The issue is i’m starting to miss a lot of keybind. I actually use all of my keybinds quite a lot and the issue is i got still a lot of combo possible on my keyboard but i can’t assign to them.

i’m already using “hidden” function in the keybind interface to optimise in arena my focus / target in arena to free me some space but that still not enought


Here’s a look of what look my action bar :

So actually the minimum i need is 18 to add the strict minimum for me in bind.
But the optimum bind to add for me is 23 new keybind possible.

This contain :

  • Arena 1/2/3
  • Food / arena food / flask etc …
  • Pet management : Play dead , dismiss pet etc …
  • 1 extra button on pet action bar to control / track ( actually on a pet like hyena there’s 2 spell on my pet spellbook i can’t use and track
  • Call pet 4 and 5

I know i’m not the only one in that case that need more keybind on action bar.
Tell me how many for you is missing below.

You need a keybind to flask?

Just download some add ons that have more bars.

I have 60 binds. You have 10 bars with 12 slots each. The default UI hides the other bars as pages in your main bar.

You can use addons to show all at once.

You have played the game since mop and don’t know that there are addons? Ait.

it’s not a huge need, but if it can avoid me to open bag → research bar the name of it, Founding the icon every time i want to use one, instead of 1 button and you got the flask.

Maybe u should get some addon? Afaik there are ones that uses more bars and u can also move most of them and configure them how u like.

Tbf, even if u play arenas and pve and what not, i dont think u need as much bars as u claim, there are options to reduce those numbers… Unbind flask maybe, u use that once per hour at max…

Is it ElvUI or just default that you got 10 bars available? I am pretty sure i got 5 bars disabled at the moment.

Yes im using ElvUi. But you can switch pages on your main bar. All together should be 10.

Just download bartender, now you have 10*12 buttons to customize and move around freely.

There are probably addons to add even more bars.

And to remove those god awful gryphons, Yuck

I use mouse profiling and macros in-game for make use of that mouse-profile. In game set up based on Tukui.

Elvui and its Addon Extraactionbars.
Makes a total of 10x12 = 120 Buttons.

Kyrel, I actually lol’ed.

I use Dominos and I still don’t have them all active on any class.

I would love to be able to move more of the UI as standard as well and make a template within WoW that I could just apply to other characters.

I don’t need more bars but if others do then why not have more bars :slight_smile:

I only use one action Bar above my base bar and 1 right bar.

And on the right bar are useless abilities that i rarely need, like slow fall, teleport, portals, heartstones

It usually works fine for me, I play like 5-6 different specs and it works fine?
(I tend to pick lots of passive talents tho that might be the reason)

Download Bartender. Then u will have plenty options.
Also why do you wanna bind Flasks or Food to your Keys?
