We are approaching 2025 and since the announcement of Shadowlands, Blizzard promised a wide range of character customizations that has yet to deliver. We had some of that since then, ofc, but I mean, come on, there are races to this dat that have barely 10 options for eyes, hair style and beards. How is this considered to be a wide range of options? WoW is still an MMORPG, and the RPG element is as important as the MMO element. Take games like FFXIV or Elder Scrolls Online. They might not be perfect, but their customization options are far ahead in comparison to WoW, where characters from the same race all look alike

My hope is that they are secretly working on a large dump of Dracthyr-level quality customisation in time for Midnight. Because I agree, the small additions we’ve gotten every now and then post-Shadowlands just doesn’t cut it.
It’s such an easy way to keep players engaged and happy with the game, because so many of us love building unique characters.

I know what you mean. I play Mag’har orc and the customization for that race is just embarassing.

Elf ears for humans.
new races
new combo class/race ( drakthyr race )
earthern race
new skin tones ( Dark ranger )
upright orcs
dwarfs ( bronzebeard, wildhammer etc )
they are literally doing what they said they would
Yes, there is such a disparity between races and genders as to how much customisation choice they get. I would love for them to update all and bring them up to par.

im normally against blizzard
but i have to give it to them they are doing well on customisation options recently
I still wait get upright for body-type 1 darkspear troll and worgen.
And both body-types for undeads

Yes, I’d love to get more customizations. 
When we got pointy ears for humans I was so happy!
Customization Wishlist:
- Vulpera Tail Rings/Beads
- Vulpera Fur colors
- Different Fur Patterns
- Height sliders
- Body size sliders
- Dedicated models for each race, no longer copy & paste
- More unique features for each race

Those are tiny amounts of customisation considering the big customisation haul of Shadowlands is now… ~5 years ago.
They need to be adding a dozen new face options and hairstyles every year, at least. New ways of customising old characters (scars, tattoos, straight backs, beards, etc).
The majority of options available to Night Elves are ancient, for example their hairstyles. Which is a shame.

Yeah, but when you spread those out over the amount of years we received them in, you’re left with a disappointingly low number.

I’m not saying we didn’t get any recently: I’m saying that WoW still lags behind compared to other MMOs.

New races/classes aren’t costumization options.
I’ll count the ear costumisation, although only two races will profit from those.
The rest we got were a few weird hair/skin colors for humans/trolls/draenei and that’s mostly it.
What we actually mean with costumisation options are hair styles / faces / tatoos / jewelry / voice options / idle stances / dances / (body types) etc. for all existing races on the level of dracthyr visage forms.

I agree with you OP, I’d love to see more customizations too. Getting new races isn’t exactly new customizations, it’s just different customizations that comes with choosing a new race. I also wish they hadn’t locked most of the new druid customization options behind quests and artifacts either >.>
Even Man’ari customization is simply different skin and eye colors, while NPC Man’ari have whole set of their own faces/bodies with fel scars and fel hoofs.
Yep, the few added constumisation options over the course of the past several addons were nothing but a sad excuse and low effort implementations to tantalize those waiting for actual updates.
Now look here. Thats a very important slider for… reasons.
