So we know TBC is coming, but that’s all we know. There are a lot of questions. TBC Classic featured a lot of changes to the original version. To avoid a painfully long post I’ll try to sum up in bullet points:
Will this be a 1 year version of TBC as well?
What changes will be made to accommodate for this, if it is the case?
Will the blue level 70 “high warlord / grand marshal” PvP honor set be available this time? It was in original TBC but not in classic.
Will the reputation required for heroics still be Revered, or will it be lowered to Honored?
Will we get the horrendous honor system from TBC classic’s start which featured gear valued at 18k+ honor but you only got 100 or so honor per BG win - which was so bad that basically nobody bothered until this was later changed to buff honor?
TBC Era gonna be a thing?
Given the potential short timeframe of the expansion this time around, will further QoL changes be made such as account wide attunements etc?
Which arena rating system can we expect this time?
Will we get the prenerf versions of Vashj and KT, or the nerfed versions? (Again, given the timeframe)
Not really here to argue about #nochanges, TBC was and is beyond that
For me it would be the opposite. I never played retail WoW, I started straight into TBC Classic all the way to Cata Firelands, and restarted here just because I always wanted to start from vanilla that I was missing out. I would love for this Anniversary server to go all the way to MoP and beyond. Why stop at certain eras? people who want to play eras play TurtleWoW or Warmane…
Please no account-bound stuff. I’m already forced to buy new battle.net account for my every new character in retail. Classic is such a relief, when every new character is truly new and unique.
