I’m honestly frustrated with the Druid forms we got during Dragonflight. Compared to the amazing, savage designs from Legion, the newer forms are a massive downgrade. They feel uninspired and completely lose the fierce class fantasy that made Druids feel so special. In Legion, every form felt powerful, unique, and full of personality. The forms from Dragonflight feel watered-down, lacking the spirit and identity that made playing a Druid exciting. It’s honestly heartbreaking to see the quality fall so far.Not only were the Legion forms iconic and true to the spirit of Druids, but so many players like me never even had the chance to play during Legion and unlock them. It’s extremely frustrating that such incredible designs are locked away forever.
legion remix leak out
Then it´s good for you that they´re not.
You can still get all of them except the mage tower appearances, including the Hidden and Balance of Power forms.
I’m not talking about those , i’m talking about the Ghost of the pridemother
I also dont get how they can gatekeep a form.
Like pure schizoism.
Well, the Legion forms were designed for druids, the ones in Dragonflight were just designed to be mobs in Emerald Dream that later Blizzard decided to give also druids.
I just want to be able to learn new forms from random beasts i encounter in the world. Like hunters tame pets.
Big nope! You can ask for new forms, but not for these ones. It was clearly stated back then that they’d no longer be obtainable, and that’s exactly what makes them special. Just accept that you missed it and move on. Why does everyone have to be a winner in this game? Why do all the cats have to look the same? Why can’t we have unique items, mounts, and appearances in this game?
You’re talking about identity—so what about the identity of an old-school druid who earned the ghost form, versus a new one who didn’t? Isn’t that kind of distinction way cooler than how flashy a skin looks?
I’ve got nothing against Blizzard adding new forms—make them cooler, beefier, with more effects, that’s great. But guess what? I’ll still be using the ghost skin, because it sets me apart from the crowd and makes me feel proud and rewarded for what I achieved back in Legion.
So let me get this straight—you think no one else should ever have access to those forms just because you got them first? That kind of gatekeeping is exactly what’s wrong with parts of the WoW community.
Not everyone was around during Legion. Some people started later, others couldn’t grind 24/7 back then. That doesn’t make them less worthy players, and it definitely doesn’t mean they should be punished forever.
You’re acting like giving others access to a form somehow erases your accomplishment. It doesn’t. If your entire identity in the game is tied to an old skin, maybe it’s time to re-evaluate what actually makes you stand out—because let’s be real, showing up now and doing high M+ or Mythic raids says way more about a player than flexing a six-year-old cosmetic.
The game moves forward. People evolve. Let others enjoy it too.
No. You don’t get to have things just because you want them. Exclusivity is good for a game.
By this logic, they should just give me Cutting Edge for every Mythic Raid and rank 1 PvP they’ve made so far. How does it affect those who already have it?
No dude. You don’t get to change the world around you for your own preference or convenience. It’s gone. Ask for new forms. Not what you don’t deserve.
So why do you go transmog farm old mythic raids then, when you cleary didn’t do it when it was current? You don’t deserve that transmog.
Go loot corrupted ashbringer then
You OK mate? Do you need a shoulder to cry on?
You literally talk about identity, and what not, but stupidly is against the ONE class (3 specs) that spends 98% of its time in one, two at most, forms majority of its time.
You can’t be this obtuse willingly so I’ll go easy on you. Because if there’s not an underlying problem with your comprehension I’m at a loss here.
Anyway: yes to the original, and reskinned, kitty forms to return to both old and new players alike. No to whiners such as you.
I would love the Kimbul Loa Form to be useable.
Mabye some sort of rare drop or questline to unlock? It’s an awesome skin and underutilized.
Even hunters got the chance to tame it…
While I’m not entirely unsympathetic towards players who didn’t play in Legion, I agree exclusivity can be good for the health of the game and some rewards tied to achievements should not be devalued over time.
The equivalent that immediately comes to mind is the challenge mode transmogs in MOP. If the challenge mode transmogs were not available in MOP Remix, I don’t see why the Mage Tower appearances should be available in Legion Remix.
For Legion Remix, I think the Ghost of the Pridemother should not return with the original colours, but I don’t see why you couldn’t do a fel inspired skin or different colours.
I think Blizz should provide more skins to Druids in general. Thinking of the last few filler patches we could have had storm skins for Siren Isle or void skins for the Revisited Visions. A mechanical Undermined themed Cat Form could have been amazing.
I’m not here to put you down, or start a fight or nitpick… HOWEVER one is a armor transmog (MoP challenge mode sets), which if you didn’t get is sad but there is like 100+ other sets you can collect and mix. Your tmog catalogue is pretty much unlimited.
Meanwhile a druid has 30-ish forms, at most, to pick from? Race forms not included. If we take out the re-color forms out of the picture a feral player has SIX forms/skeletons to chose from, PotGM and hidden artifact exluded. SIX!
Guardian has two more, again exluding hidden artifact, and Might of the Grizzlemaw.
Let’s not forget that both resto and guardian druids also spend time in cat form (depending on spec).
It wouldn’t be an issue if we could mix and match fur color, armor plates, wines and what not for our forms, but we can’t. At least Balance druids can skip their forms completely with a glyph and jump on the tmog train.
This is why Ghostmother, original and/or re-color, should return and why it can’t be compared to MoP challenge sets.
While one is armor sets and the other is druid forms, I believe it’s still a relevant comparison. Spin it how you will, it ultimately comes down to old cosmetics that people want that are no longer available in the game and in my opinion shouldn’t be made available again.
The real issue (as I see it) is a lack of interesting alternatives. I addressed the scarcity of druid forms when I said “Blizz should provide more skins” and gave a few recent examples of missed opportunities.
Bringing back the old cosmetic items that were supposed to be available for a limited time potentially has a negative impact on players who went out of their way to earn them at the time, whereas creating new cosmetics can only be considered a positive for players.
They did provide new forms with the Emerald Dream patch in DF tho (saw mixed feels, I love them personally)… and to add salt to the wound, of ferals in particular, they gave (bear) druids another reskin of Grizzlemaw.
Hell, I bet they could make Pridemother pp colored and/or remove the shimmer and people would still be happy.
You guys should do the more logical things in life
It’s more logical to get recolors due to the obvious if anything
It’s also more logical to get a recolor as legion cross promotion for classic legion later on
It’s also logical as an individual to play legion classic when it’s out in preparation that the game will cross over rewards later on
Don’t wait for a miracle to happen
They clearly stated that they are seperate games and it will not be crossover rewards tho. If it was stated that they would do crossover rewards, believe me, the servers would have been more than active and full
