We want to keep GDKP!

yea.

you just confirmed what im saying, and u say im wrong. im confused.

its in the long post. it makes gold cheaper. to meet demand with supply, rates go down. that brings in more buyers. standard marketmechanics.

That is certainly one way to look at it, but it is wrong.

People paying each other real life cash outside of the game does not actually affect anything in game.

no. Botted gold already costs next to nothing, cost was never a factor for demand. Demand will remain the same or less (people still want to FAP/SAP/LIP on loop next phase). Supply is entirely based on how profitable it is to the botters.

it does. they buy gear. teh game gets known for RMG and people stop playing due to the enviroment - as GDKP/RMT has done to a ton of versions already. that is according to blizzard as well as players.

They buy gear in a way that does not interact with the game.
aka
who fudging cares

might as well be ms>os for all it does to affect the community

to a degree. if blizzardtokens come and they cost 1 euro each, the RMT wouldnt b profittable. as is, it is very profittable.

most drugaddicts use that excuse - me taking drugs doesnt hurt anyone. they forget conveniently that the supplychain has its pitfalls to society.

finally got to the strawman part of this guys meltdown.

margins matter, margins on retail are much smaller and less so wotlk if not negative and just supply the farms with a monthly sub, not going to get into the details why.
good day

either scale up or quit then.

no pls ty bb

If you need help understanding that this wont go away in P2 atleast plz find another version of the game to play.

No, we really dont, go away rmt andy

dont u need to be able to read to use google
?

Nah, we don’t. Bye!

I think most people would lift the valid reasons of laundring gold for gold buyers/sellers and turning raids into the biggest gold farm etc. People can say that it’s Blizzard’s fault for not banning gold buyers all they want (we don’t know the full reasons they don’t no matter how much people speculate) but this is a step towards lowering the demand.

And what do you mean with less controllable and dangerous? Can you elaborate?
It’ll definitely be more dangerous for the gold buyers/sellers because there’s suddenly a smaller economy where the illicit gold circulate. Do you mean it’ll spawn some sort of back alley abortion situation?

In the last interview with The Comeback Kids, they did state that they look forward to an easier way to catch both sellers and buyers because there were less transactions to backtrack and the gold wouldn’t have quickly spread to a lot of other people.

I get it, GDKP proponents will obviously dislike this change but I think it’s a big disingenious to refuse to see the massive drawbacks for the rest of the population. Just create a guild that uses DKP or just simple MS>OS +1 - you’ll get your gear either way and the hassle people are talking about is an extra few minutes per raid if anything. You’ll survive.

Now that Blizz upped the gold cost of mount to 100g (yes it is it normal cost, but previous builds had the reduced seasonal cost and this is still seasonal contentwith short phases
) and put the pearl trinkets at 75g (basically rewarding players who farmed gdkp when it was “legal”
) i can see late players asking for a chance to get the free botted gold as well xD

Put the mount back at 40g and the pearl at 20g, then you will get less crying about gdkp.

I am against gdkp btw. This is just p2w mmo like retail wow.

i can indeed - but its a long chat - more on this further down where u find green fonts

here:

100g mounts is fine - having it at 36 until a few hours ago, and springing a 64 gold inflation for no reason, isnt. ppl that dont play hard didnt farm for 100g, they farmed for 36
