Hey guys! Nowadays edgemasters cost tons of gold, last time in gehennas AH it was about 9-10k. So question is, is it worth as a non orc warrior use (random sword) + maladath? or as an option Aged Core Leather Gloves + some good daggers like Perdition and Core Hound Tooth? or maybe Expert Goldminer’s Helmet + some good axes? What is your opinion? Thanks for response

Daggers + Mugger / ACLG is a very good option. Vael Dagger > Perd MH + CHT > Hakkar Dagger OH is my intuition
Axe Skill Helmet from Uldaman Rare as well (Expert goldminers helmet or sth like that), but tends to be pricey, too
Maladath only gives +4, it’s still a dps increase as it reduces glancing blows, but since it doesnt cross the threshold of 5 u dont get the 3% free hit, so it’s very likely inferior to the dagger route
someone on my server was selling abyssal leg plates that gave +7 sword skill and 1% crit yesterday. not even kidding, apparently those are so rare that they aren’t even in the atlas loot records.
an offer of 1200g didn’t even prompt a response from him, meaning he is likely gonna sell them for like 9k or something extreme like that.

305-308 is the sweetspot for weapon skill. Only tanks should consider more than that. Anything below 305 gives you tiny returns considering what you give up for it. Daggers are okay for single target but you’ll be lacking trash damage and you’ll do more threat than usual.

“Of specialization” was intended to be in game but was removed - although the affix exists and people can link to non-existing items with such affix.
