Weekly chest - requires honor instead of conquest now

I think they have to buff rbgs little bit to 1000…looks like 2s gonna be cap bracket

there are no weapons at endbosses in castle natharia. Endboss loot is pretty bad for pvp in castle natharia. Its mostly nerfed trinkets.

that might happen later in the expansion but right now there is nothing like that. There is no need to raid at all.

of course but that has been the case since the beginning of wow. You wont be in a disadvantage if you start later or take a break because the season is long enough and its easy to catchup

Hm well that’s good news, I thought there were weapons from the last two bosses. Seems the gearing itself should be decent, there’s just other things to do to get conduits, recipes etc but that doesn’t seem too bad (it seems…time will tell).

These are the first win of the day rewards

Maybe it’s time for you to start playing arena after all, and not have us scorn your opinion almost every time, when you give it without having set foot inside arena.
I am pretty sure once you start playing it you will understand why we did so

Erm. Made a big post in a different thread on the changes already. I’ll just link it instead of quoting:

In sum, the change is fine but needs to be extended because otherwise unrated PVP is in the trash can.

So your proposal is basically for gear to not matter.

I’d like this, but I cant see it happening.

We had this in WoD, for example.

Yes WoD had imo the best gearing system but they removed it and I cant see them bringing it back. I would rather pvp gear was of heroic quality and scaled up to mythic quality in pvp.

Yes, sure, that’d work great, too. Let’s see whether they will do anything. Who knows, maybe we’ll be surprised.

Unfortunately, I think right now only you got shafted. For people who enjoy arena, this is probably the best we will get whilst they are working with their current design philosophy.

This is exactly it, 100%. People giving their advice on an aspect of the game where they’ve only touched a fraction is incredibly draining.

Well, the number of players who play random BGs was at least 10-12x the number of players who play arenas pre-Legion. The proportion might be lower now, but I don’t think it is lower than 4-5x. So, the number of people who got shafted is significantly larger than the number of people who got propped. Now, I agree that people who got shafted might go to M+ and some likely already did it. But not all of them will. And I doubt the increase in the number of people who do rated PVP will be big. But we will see.

In all fairness, I’ve mostly given my thoughts based on how the system would be for a casual PvPer who might not do Rated PvP. And I think I fit that category quite well, with the personal experience to back it up.
Beyond that I’ve simply compared the PvP gear system to the PvE gear system for Shadowlands, like everyone else has, and given my thoughts on whether they appear equal or not, and whether the PvP gear design seems okay on its own.

I rather appreciate an opinion being informed by personal experience, but for some topics it’s quite overrated, no offense. :yum:

But I definitely will give Arena a spin in Shadowlands. I do that every expansion. I just tend to conclude that it still sucks and then I stop playing it. We’ll see if Shadowlands is any different.

In all fairness my comment wan’t aimed at you in the slightest, apologies if it felt that way.

It’s fine, and i get your point, and I’m generally inclined to agree with it. :slightly_smiling_face:
