when i see enchants way over 10k i dont want to interact with this system 
its pretty bad! sometimes i should buy materials for 1000x gold for 2-3 skill points. ok bro not gonna happen
play as enchanter then ? and then realise how much hundreds of thousands of gold you have to sink into mats to get those levels and knowledge up 
but more seriously - just use DF enchants even bronze ones.
True, they are pre-defined:-) Seems odd that the (blue) Null stone was picked amidst quite common ores.

How many hours of mining would one have to do to gain 12k gold out of those 3 points?
Probably waaaaay more time than it takes to farm 2 null stones. Riduculous 
When you have the talent ring of bismuth completely finished it is actually quite fast.
