If they make buff train after each raid they can demand buffs otherwise they have no right to demand buffs. Nature resist gear is irrelevent for AQ40, you need to press greater nature protection on some bosses ( Princess, C’thun ), and you need Elixir of Poison Resistance for Viscidious ( still you can farm in LBRS Spiders to avoid spending gold, before raid ).
If you really finish BwL in an hour on fresh anniversary in which debuff limit is removed after spending a lot of time on buffs + consumables, you should leave that guild. Any half professional guild can finish BwL in less than 30mins. Check logs of known guilds like : five sunders please
GSPP for nefarian is beyond funny, I assume your guild lead has infinite amounts of GSPP on AH so he tries to finish that reserve by selling them to guildies. You don’t need any consumable for BwL at all, only basic ones to improve dps. If you are main tanking maybe you can use stone shield potion etc (broodlord lashlayer) but most of the time not even needed.
I hope your guild is aware that AQ40 can be done with 0 NR gear. At least for DPS. You just zug the bosses down with world buffs and it just works. But yeah, the over-preparation in this game is kind of ridiculous. You don’t need world buffs for MC or BWL. Or any raid, honestly. But people like to save 15 minutes every raid, or whatever. It’s all about min-maxing the efficiency these days, and clearing MC 15 minutes slower just isn’t OK!
1st time playing classic and Frankly i don’t know . I started raiding 11 weeks ago . I got 1 item despite clearing Mc-Bwl (full clear ) 1 shoulder from dog in those 11 weeks . ( The things is that in 11 week that i am we only seen 3 rogue items=6 rogues )
Today we had 32 people (+ socials. ) 7 items for warlocks = disenchant .
My motivation to continue is zero and i don’t know how people find playing for 2 hours weekly an amazing engagement …
For the entire time that I’ve been raiding, I’ve gotten 2 items. 5 months worth of raiding. I’m not going to blame the officers for their decisions, or that items simply do not drop.
We’ve kind of done this to ourselves as well by optimizing classic to the degree that we have, where by farming rank 14, we’ve made nearly all the items that drop from bwl and mc worthless. So we’re basically raiding for only a few select items that 15 other people need.
It just doesn’t take away from the fact that it still kills my enjoyment for the game. After all the grinding, and then there’s nothing to show for it. I have zero excitement for aq40. It’s just going to be even more of a grind to have all the consumables to even run it, since its not 30 minutes like bwl, (unless you’re speed-running, which we thankfully don’t do). More prep work as well having to farm certain items for specific bosses.
It’s not so fun the second time around when there’s been no improvements made to players’ quality of life for things that matter.
So yeah I’m probably going to quit/take a break again very soon. Haven’t told my guild yet and they might find out through here. I don’t want to. I enjoy the guild I’m in and the people I’ve made connections with.
Not to mention it’ll probably hurt them too when we’re already struggling to fill up the raid, and put further stress on my friends to recruit on a dying server. I feel bad for them because I know they are trying their best, without making this their second job.
Edit: I feel like I’ve been emphasizing only loot in this post, It’s obviously not just about loot. It’s the checklist and grind to be prepared that is draining when there’s nothing to show for it. It’s the monotony of classic.
Today we had a discussion for recruitment and found out that our 2 Main tanks ( we have 3 in totals ) are taking a break
( For the next week we have only 21 people signed with 9 ( current week signed off )
No loot ~ no people to fill the spots is really bad for the development of the game .
I mean a dumb company that doesn’t even bother anymore of providing satisfaction for the playerbase .
They already altered the expansion ( 21 weeks less ) but they didn’t compensate players . I don’t know but dumb is cheap

If you want raiding you should avoid any guilds (lc or epgp doesn’t matter) like plague. Find a good sr pug that raids every week, you’ll get motivation to play and gear
I literally miss 2 items from phase bis, ring of forced concentration and bracer of arcane accuracy, and I have second bis in both slots. And frankly got no special privileges, just half my gear is guaranteed (bloodvine, r14, zg drops) and I got some lucky rolls on rag neck, tear, mish etc.
For me I don’t understand why anniversary exists when Era is already out.
I know people will say because TBC … we didn’t know that until recently.
I don’t understand the appeal of fresh at all. You already know what content is releasing. You already know the metas , the strats , the most efficient way of leveling.
What purpose did a fresh classic experience really do ? a momentary hype and a dopamine shot. Hoping for a classic 2019 2.0 ? It never happened.
The game didn’t alter , the class popularity % were the same. Guilds are stacking warrs and rushing through pve content.
Classic vanilla wow has had 5 refreshes , and I’ve already seen people on Anniversary wanting ANOTHER CLASSIC FRESH when tbc comes out.
It makes absolutely no sense to me.
You want a new classic experienc ? Click create character pick a class/ race you never played before in era. There’s your new experience. Wasn’t that hard was it.

I just hope that instead of instantly shooting what someone said down you learned that maybe just maybe its a good idea to look up if the info they said is correct.
1 reason surely is that boosting crap, that kills low lvl gaming.
Wanted to start a char on the anniversary PvP server for the coming TBC.
(Could not just kill my 60 hardcore chars, cause they would end up on the PvE server. Nicely done Blizzard)
