What abt ppl who will not be logged on the 18th but will resub a few days b4 TBC launch?

Do we absolutely HAVE TO be on the 18th?

I plan to take a vacation and return back a few days b4 TBC launch.

Where will my toons be meanwhile? Will I be able to advance to TBC when I get back a few days before launch?

They will still be there waiting for you to make a choice.

unless you make a choice between the 18th and the 1 of july, all your char will go to TBC by default. so log atleast once during prepatch, during those 12 days as far as i know

You could go away for a year and the choice would still be there when you return, there is no “default”
