What addons are u guys using for dps and healer roles?

i just started playing world of warcraft today first time .i have played ffxiv before but as addons are not legal to use in that game so i didnot bother .
My question is which addons i need to have .i will be playing dps and healer role .
I will play pvp casually with maybe battlegrounds and some casual arena or solo shuffle and for pve i am planning to play dungeons and mythic plus .hopefully end game stuff.
Edit : Will appreciate if you guys also recommend endgame addons as i will be playing that content too .

Personally i would just play the game normally if i were you. Since your character only seems to be lvl 11 you really wont any dps or healer add ons unless you seriously start to do end game stuff like rated pvp or raiding

Most of my addons aren’t really needed when levelling. I have around 31 atm :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

A damage meter can be nice, I use Details.

i am actually looking for addons that are usable in end game content as well ,not just levelling .maybe i should reword my first post if it is making people confuse.

Healing addons comes down to your own preference, years ago I used to use VuhDo but there are various ones.

Plater… that’s it.
DBM expired somewhere months ago, same a details :sweat_smile: they don’t work anymore.

I’ve got plater, what else do I need? It colours me the casters, it shows if they are casting… the rest is just mechanics to avoid.

I don’t need something to babysit me with sounds like “bam” “weep weep” “ghaaaaaaaa” “bheeeeeee” “blblblbl”

That’s all I use for PvE basically. Every other addon is just for RP or UI prettiness

you don’t “need” to have any addons really, default UI is good enough.

At the very least that is how I play as DPS & healer, no need for addons to assist with that.

It depends on the person wich they like then. I only use TSM for some fuctionality for buying and selling and crafting in big numbers.

But yeah if you want to heal then healbot or vuhdo are important. If you intend to do pve as well then deadlybossmod (dbm) is pretty much a required if you want to do m+ the rio

For a less overwhelming and massive list to get your head around<.<…

For basic m+ and endgame just go with Bigwigs&little wigs. DBM. And Weakaura.

Handynotes is also very useful. Helps you see all the stuff on the map you can do and their rewards.

I agree with skullfox, dont need to have alot of addons. Start with a few like bigwigs or deadly boss mods, maybe a healer addon like clique, healbot or vuhdo. Then u can test other addons as you go along and figure out that something is lacking. My list of addons is not very long, its the essentials i feel i need to do the content i do. And the weak auras addon lets me add any weak auras i might feel i need (mostly use them as reminders of certain cooldowns or keeping track of certain things). Start of lightly so you dont get overwhelmed.
