Why are you arguing in circles? Everything you’re asking I’ve already answered.
This thread isn’t about what bothers me personally, it’s about things you think you want to do, but you don’t.
I genuinely think this is just like the old flying. EVERYBODY were defending that garbage pre-Dragonflight and I had argument after argument after argument explaining how dumb it is, and now nobody defends it anymore lol.
Of course I want to, and I have! So go and read it. It’s in this blasted thread, but not in direct response to you. But you literally never looked at it and keep ignoring it even though I ask you over and over again.
Here, no more excuses:
You even replied to that post but ignored 2/3rds of it. It’s ridiculous.
I half agree. I’m done with the renown tracks and now most world content just feels … not worth my time. Those factions should have some worthwhile paragon type rewards imo.
Only for those types of players. I’m having fun with the talent trees. I’ve been trying out some different variations and that’s cool. If players drop that ‘I have to get the best’ attitude, then they’ll have a lot more fun.
As for my personal ‘you think you do, but you don’t’ thing… Removal of AP grind. I really do miss it. I want daily content back. Worthwhile daily content. I like something to work towards… AP fills those needs.
AP grind is an interesting phenomenon. When done right it serves as a second XP bar to give a little wind at your back but nothing more. When done wrong, like in BfA, it feels like an annoying FOMO system that forces you into grinding something you don’t like doing or you lose progress you already made. In that case islands mostly.
I think there’s room for AP in this game but it’s gotta be something that isn’t something you need to do by doing a certain piece of content over and over again. Just a nice little 1% HP/damage to give a little wind at your back week by week, earnable from just plain playing whatever.
I don’t think the game needs it either though. It’s… fine like this. But yeah, I can see the appeal.
Putting a bunch of console controls in there, but not going all-in with a console release.
Offering a bunch of cosmetic ensembles but not going all the way by losening the restrictions on transmog.
Giving us a class/race combo which is very nische and limited. That’s probably the ultimate display of “lol we know best”, because it’s very clearly their way or the highway for the first new class added in several years.
Not giving us a world revamp despite all the pieces being in place.
Revamping Professions but making them super confusing and reliant on other forms of content a crafter might not enjoy doing.
Group loot / personal loot.
Offering alt catch ups instead of just giving us account wide progress.
That said, credit where credit is due. They have given players flight from the get go, which many players requested for years. They’ve also introduced a way to play Rated PvP solo, which players also begged for.
There isn’t much left to do. Just install ConsolePort on the game, port it, and ship it. Like it’s fully playable. Really playable. People are doing +20 keys with it.
I think it’s worth exploring a custom UI with panels gliding in from the sides as opposed to just being pop-up boxes. But in general I agree, seems like something they should be able to offer.
Also it should be part of Game Pass so you could stream it over the cloud to weak PCs.
I only played with people i enjoyed playing with, and i left guilds with “test run without loot” (aka, we are gonna rip you off and kick you out).
But at the end of the day, unless its an irl friend, there is a limit to niceness.
Seeing a highly geared raider who know his class doing low damage in heroic raids while progression, it aint working.
Fix your character or dont show up.
Its like you never did progression…
*who is crazy enough to uce icy veins builds ? Its the worst wow guide out there. Wowhead guides are much better. and there are better out there, but wowhead guides are enough for everything.
