Given how “easy” Classic is, I wanted to ask you guys, what are the Meme Talent builds which you use on Era or Annisvary. Like which of your strange ones that you have for a concept like Roleplay or because only there it is possibe and which may not be so effective but are so fitting for your imagination?
I start with my Warlock build for an enhanced Succubus because her invisibility may hide his foul preferences:

I’m playing a ret Paladin on the side. She’s rank 13 with a Hammer of Rag in her future (surely it will drop this Friday).
I just ranked a smite priest and working on my prot paladin.
The biggest problem to run a meme is that people is so stubbern and think that memes cant do a thing.
When lvling my smite priest i always pointed out for my son’s when i out dpses their warriors. There is only 1 big problem for smitepriest and its mana but its the same for shadow.
For ret i say lack of attacks and mana. For prot it’s a taunt. As we see in expantions when we get what we neede it’s all ok.
Ps
If there is a guild on Spinechatrer who wants a smitepriest im upp for it.
I play a mostly protection specced Pally, with some holy thrown in. He’s a wonder for HC PvE, almost unkillable … but atrociously slow. I play him as an oaf, a country boy who has discovered his talents, but are stil awed, and a bit afraid of them
He is no use in a dungeon, but for grouping in the open world - no-one beats him. I hope to eventually make it to level 60. Two former iterations died to pure bad luck combined with my stupidity.
Content is easy, because meme specs are not accepted by the community.
My kind of meme spec is holy paladin with deep prot specialization. I use it either for raids with 5+ paladins to buff sanctuary (not really useful, but better than nothing) or for dungeons, because it provides extra survivability when tank is dumb. I sacrificed holy shock for that build, still not sure if it’s worth it.
Not sure if it counts as a meme spec, but I made a spec specifically for 8min AV meta, with imp counterspell and presence of mind in arcane, impact, maximized flame strike and blast wave in fire, and frostbite to top it off. It is very average at PvP, but I can generate so much threat pulling WMs with PoM improved flamestrike into BW into 3 arcane explodes that even Pala healer opening on the Drek tank with Holy Light crit wont pull the WMs back. And i can immobilize defender griefers with scorches OR frostbolts after interrupt.
Of course I used it for like 20 games and then went back to deep frost for safety during commander pulling, but it’s the thought that counts
Im lvling my prot paladin now and im in almost all eagel gear and damn he strugles whit mana.
I havent tested him in a dungeon yet but will as soon as i get some spellpower items. I have dpsed alot and heal alot of times but newer tanked so need to lern to think like one and move like one.
Good luck. Tanking is big fun - at least I think so.
Great thread! I’ve been leveling a mage on era recently, and I did 10-25 as arcane. Gee, that was interesting, hehe…
I’ve also played deep prot warrior and tanked “how it’s supposed to be done” quite a bit at level 60. It’s fun, but the threat generation is very low compared to your current day pumper dps friends.
You could play elemental in raid group actually once you can get spell hit. On many bosses your healing isn’t needed so being able to totem twist for a melee group and throw lightning bolts is actually idea. Bosses like Ebonroc and Flamegore it’s better if shamans twist for melee and do damage. I don’t see it often because it’s a thankless job and you dont really show on parses but anyone whos worth a damn as a shaman twists on most fights. Obviously Firemaw and Vael are examples of fights you maynot twist.
This game has builds? Now that’s a meme.
Hmm i have a lvl 20 warolk and i gona test if i can playe fire whit him.
Just gona check when i got all spells that do fire damage.
