I would recommend reviewing gold grinding guides, so you can make as much gold as possible, so you can then buy wow tokens and convert them into Battlenet Balance to then buy the standard version of The War Within.

It should be possible indeed. There are mog farms that are easy to do, and in 1-2h you can get enough items to then post. The more items you get, the more it will be likely for you to sell them for a good price. I know of people who made millions just doing that kind of things in half an hour a day

It should indeed be possible. It’s just looking for the right things, which sell for a decent amount and doesn’t take too much time.
Even profession mats can generate a decent income, depending on what is selling the most. Sometimes it’s the older expansion materials.

Save up for it, wait for a discount or someone to gift it to you. And in the meantime, try to find things you enjoy in DF or previous expansions. If not: play other games anyway you can.
Yeah, sorry I don’t have that much disposable income to give a stranger an expansion.

You forgot to mention the timespan for actually earning these “millions”.
Several months would be kind of realistic.

Thanks for the advice. I have some other singleplayer games to play in the meantime but will play DF and farm something.

Just spend one of you 1-2hrs per day sessions researching gold making from older expansions. It wont be quick or easy but you’ll get there.
So much depends on the realm someone is at.
If it´s ruled by a Goblin, you will not sell anything. I was doing the transmog selling years ago, I made a few hundred k.
Then a Goblin migrated to my realm, I have hardly sold anything since then. They have all the transmog items and undercut you as soon you post. Plus, the demand is in decline, most people nowadays have the Mogs already and new players are hardly showing up.
His best bet may be crafting materials, that are harder to get. They may net him a few thousand gold a day, but it´s a long grind. Goblins don´t have as much an impact on this market I think and it´s world wide, so more buyers too.
The ugly reality? the world within is a dragonflight 2.0 copy paste with delves added. Absolutely nothing new to it, or just bits here and there. I won t advice you what to do, i would recommend tho to just enjoy dragonflight as is the same thing as this new campaign.

You could also play through all those old questlines. Though sadly you can only do this with chromie time if you exp stop at 69 so you would need a second character if you want the enemies to give at least some resistence.
Hm, I dunno, the story and regions seem a tad different than Dragonflight, you sure you bought TWW? 
Geez, TWW is not DF copypasta and if people want to play it for story or whatnot let them…
