Im holy paladin main and currently leading my raid as hpala too , but there is a opportunity to swap int ranged role . I would like to hear your oppinion what ranged spec i should pick for raid leading.
What’s importent to me is not to difficult mechanics preffer an easy spec.
-I want to check the whole raid under my control like as healer. For example i know where my raid members stand and whats mechanic facing them .
Basicly my main goal is:
While i play and making my job maximum as leader and as dps player . Tracking mechanics, cds, ppls while i doing my best as dps too.
Beast Mastery hunter typically makes it easy to keep track of everything while performing decently. Mobility and rather simple rotation help with that.
Easiest whould be to raid lead as a tank considering it allows for more “interuptions” over healing and dpsing. In our guild we don’t have a set raidleader, we instead have one healer, one tank and one dps helping eachother out. Since well to be fair, tanks know alot more about the tanking bits and healers do always have their own mechanics to deal with. The DPS leader however handles target switching etc.
I mostly agree with this, except Disc priest is defo below other ranged healers, considering it’s a proactive healer, rather than reactive. So trying to keep track of what is currently happening and then thinking into the future for your ramp while keeping on top of all the mechanics is not really an easy thing to do.
