Dwarf Hunter!
Hunter is fantastic class to group and solo play. A lot of toolkit and utility to keep yourself safe in the open world, you never feel alone because you have a pet, easy class to start with but also challenging to master.

If you want to get known in the community, pick a class that is needed.
Warrior tanks are always needed.
Healers are also needed - any of them, pick the class you like the most when not healing
If you want to DPS then I can’t really recommend anything because there are already too many of them. Mages are sometimes wanted for their AOE but there are already too many in the game. Warrior is the best DPS and you can tank when asked.
Don’t pick paladin or priest if you want to mainly DPS.
I think that the 2 big options I have are Warlock or Hunter, just need to lock one down
