I was really hoping that shadowform would become an aura and we could glyph out of the awful purple ghost spell effect, but, alas, no. Blizz too busy counting their money to listen
I simply cannot get to grips with Mind Spike, I don’t like how it plays. I do more DPS (currently) with the old spec using Mind Flay and shunning Mind Spike altogether. But I cannot speak for DF, time will tell I guess. I’m planning to play DF with an Evoker and my SP in a hope it gets better at 70.
This should have been a thing since legion but people complained that they wanted it back why not meet half way and give people like they gave Moonkings that we can glyph it away so we can see our transmog and people whom wants it can keep it.

It says nothing at all. It says the priest had no clue how the boss worked and pressed his biggest buttons as the boss disappeared. It’s no surprise that he did poor damage.
Then you, in the echo chamber chose to interpret that as “shadow does no damage.” Is that dishonest or clueless?
The prt notes nerfs to Mind sear and buffs to the most boring play rotation mind spike spam and dot spread. They are buffing mind cleave yet wish that they added so our mind blast has a chance to spread dots when the main target is afflicted with vampiric touch to the two nearby targets.
If blizzard are going down that path they could at least make it fun to play because waiting for shadow crash when tank has 16 adds pulled is bad.
It feels like we are still stuck in 2010 nothing big has happened to dot spread.
They could go wilder but they are stuck somehow.
Hope they don’t release this trash version of shadow priest.
Why is the left talent three for shadow so dead at the momment and why is shadows dps Cds a cast timer? also why is shadows dot cleave slower than Affliction warlock

Recent shadow and fire mage nerfs bring them down to bottom of the pack. Rogues and hunters look in good place. Moonkin also looks promising after the recent Feral AoE nerf. Season 1 looks like full melee+ hunter meta.
Maybe they’ve overcomplicated the caster classes a little bit. Shoutouts to evoker that get to not be a builder-spender, I legit don’t even know how to play without that
I was excited to have psychic link back to SL levels, but I didn’t realise it accounted for so little in my damage breakdown even back then, when I was actively using SFP too and they go well together. DP is the main damage and that just doesn’t spread. Anyway, the Sear change is surprising because its our MASS aoe, but the falloff isn’t the end (20th enemy still takes 50% damage). Makes sense with reining in multiple AoEs though. Remember your aoe is a combination of apparitions, PL, mental decay from sear and not just the sear itself.
Just, give us some aoe ressource gain scaling please, and do something about shadowcrash.

I’d wager he knows more than nothing, he does alright in keys, if a little inconsistent. Which I can relate to, takes routine to get consistent with this.

reroll to something that has amazing gameplay and 0 damage, or stick with SP , the warcrime of a rotation, but outdps everyone…hmmmmmmm
