I just wonder if people have upgraded their pc
since the worst cpu shortage is over now.
I still run my rog strix RX 580 8gb OC with Ryzen 5 3600x. My monitor is a 2k 1440p 27” rog strix. Setting 8/10!
What gpu/cpu and monitor and setting do you use?
Think I will upgrade the gpu when rtx 40xx comes.

Still using an i5 4690 with a gtx 970. The motherboard is showing its first signs of failure, randomly detects “disconnects” of my audio cables, might be time to start looking at replacements or maybe I can prolong its life with a dedicated sound card (do those still exist?).
I just bought a new laptop a few month back i dont have its specs on hand ill find out
Sound card does still exist 
but it is probably better to buy a new motherboard and a cpu. AMD has shown great output for very little money recent years.
In 2019 did I buy my Ryzen 3600x for 220 euro and my b450 rog strix motherboard for 110 euro. Very cheap and super efficient setup
Nah, i can play pretty much everything I want to. If I’d upgrade, I’d wait until the 4xxx series of gpu is out.

Yes I do also w8 for the rtx 4xxx. My RX 580 8 gb rog strix OC, can run most game at high or ultra. Did buy it 2019 for 220ish euro at a sale!

Does the 3050ti work well? Good output?
I run WoW on Ultra & have no FPS issues. World Boss fights drop to about 30ish
1440p or 1080p? sound like my RX580 8gb in performance.
1080, getting a 4K monitor soon
My current PC contains a Ryzen 9 5900X and a Radeon 6900 XT. I use a 2K monitor with a refresh rate of 144Hz and have all of WOW’s graphics settings turned up to the maximum.
Umm… Funny you should mention that but I think that’s actually the graphics card in my old PC that I still have lying around…
WoW and FF14 are the only PC games I play so I didn’t upgrade. I have a GTX2060 and some kind of i7 10xxx.
I play 1080p at 60fps. I will probably not upgrade this decade.
i5 11400f and 3060gt. Using a 1080p AOC monitor as I’m too lazy to upgrade it.
Amazing how big gaming graphics cards are compared to back then.
Get rdy to take off! Your RTX3050ti will struggle to keep a 4K monitor even at 60 fps in WoW. I did buy my self a 32” Samsung G5 and my RX580 did go on full fan speed all the time, it did get both loud and hot in the room
I did only run Intel from 1995 to 2019, but I have to say that I’m super impressed of AMD and their output. So much CPU for the money
Ye I think I will have to buy bigger tower next time, just to fit the GPU
