What CPU and GPU do you use 2022?

12400 on the gigabyte b660i with a msi 3x ventus 3070

I would not upgrade atm. The GPU market is still very overpriced! GTX1070ti is still solid!

That combo still rolls strong. Better than first few generations of ddr4.

This is a killer machine  3090ti much have cost both your kidneys now when GPU prices are higher then Snoop

Yeah, I’m an IT freelancer so I can claim it as a business expense as I use it as a work system too. Might be overkill slightly but you can never be “too sure” Was a lot of money, at least I only tend to get a new system every 5+ years.

i7 960 2.5ghz + 16gb ddr3 1333mhz + 1060 3gb
1080p in 25+ fps in hard times like wb or raids.
Every part in stock mode ofc. If I start to overclocking it just for +0,001 mhz it will be death instantly, just because of how this pc is old.
And yeah, I can’t upgrade it, default cook didn’t has much money
But in Classic it’s ok! I will play WotLK anyway on this.

I agree with you. I should look for a new GPU and wait for a cheaper 5800X3D.

I agree! I would wait for the RTX40xx or any of the new AMD (if you like team red better)

I noticed a big difference in GPU prices lately. Happy to see a change in the market

Yeah about that AMD vs Nvidia 2022.

Geforce have had the edge for a while now right?

I’m not up to date on the matter.

But if (when) I decide to upgrade, I already know I will go overboard and spend 3k€+ on a complete overhaul package.

Now about that AMD vs Nvidia

Nvidia just seem to win the race over and over again. Better stability, better software, better resolution scaling and the most important better adaptive sync and lower temperature :face_with_thermometer:

On the other hand, AMD do extremely well in CPU segment

I will check out the Swedish PC forums (Sweclockers for example) for more info, when the time comes

Upgrading my pc for 3-4k would be a lot cheaper than buying a 2 wheeler for 18k.

Clown logic

And thanks Oz

Do clowns pay half of the price? Since they seem to prefer one wheeler

Employees get about 15% discount but you didn’t hear it from me.

Also, the way I ride (or used to) could be considered 1 wheel riding :sunglasses:

(where did all my likes go…)
