You realize that you’ve played this game over 15 days over the last 5 weeks right ? You’ve spent 43% of your life in the game. And I don’t mean 43% of your waking hours, but 43% full time. If we consider you spend like 7 hours sleeping and 1 more hour for food/washing (if you even washed…), that means you’ve spent over 60% of your waking time playing WoW, over 10 hours per day.
And that’s just on that character !
Yes, you’ve played a lot, you’ve burned through the content and here’s the result. You reap what you sow.
Why do you even want to play a game 24/7 forever? Thank god there is no daily grind in classic. Just play if you want to. I am happy that after no lifing for short period there is an opportunity to raid log (if you want) and play other games without falling behind. Dailies just make me sick.
If you don’t enjoy vanilla pvp
If you don’t need to prepare for raids
If you don’t play the game solely to have fun and not for any “reward” at the end of the rainbow road…
You’re probably not going to enjoy Classic in the long run.
It’s an mmo of the old order, and despite many people being rude about it, they’re actually right. It wasn’t designed with you in mind. You’re not supposed to have 16 days /played after 36 days and still have stuff to do.
That being said, you probably still have plenty of stuff to do if you want to (and since you hardcore, why not go for exalted with every faction, lets go bloodsail buccaneers xD), and I can tell you for sure that you don’t have even 5% of the gold you’re gonna need throughout vanilla, regardless of how much you have.
Personally I’d advise you to re-evaluate your feelings on Classic and think about why you play it. If you don’t play just to have fun and not to “gain” something, well, it’s probably not your game.
Which is totally fine.
It also might be better for you to play it in short bursts and then take a break every now and then. That is also fine.
But it’s not gonna get more fun for you if you don’t enjoy raid prep, guild activities, pvp and running random content for the hell of it.
You played WoW before. You know what Classic would be. Content wise. You also know what the phase/content release plans are.
You should not be suprised that with the amount of time you played, you would end up bored pretty soon. I will not judge you for the spent hours, because to each their own how they like to spend their time.
But you can not deny you played a lot of hours in a game you know have very limited content yet and you were outpacing the general community. So don’t act surprised you are now at this point.
I would suggest raising some alts, not for gold, but for fun. And with your amount of time/dedication you will have several level 60’s maybe when more content opens.
Or like suggested, stop WoW for a bit, there’s other games or stuff to do, and return when phase 2 starts.
You might be playing the game for the wrong reasons mate… You claim 15 days played aint much, but that is 360hours over 35 days… thats 10.3h per day, non-stop… thats pretty intense. Sure i went in 18hours per day the first week of launch, but afterwards life called and i had to fall back to a work/family/game routine. If you feel like you have nothing more to do and have no need for an alt (which i dont get cause i love playing more classes than i should) you in fact, should take a break.
Things that occupy me at 60:
getting those few pre bis items that wont drop
wpvp
weekly ony and mc clear
prof leveling
alt leveling
if non of these interest you, sorry but classic aint for you.
Congratulations. You beat the game then
Myself haven’t even reached level 40. I am 60 gold short of my mount, I have tons of stuff to do still.
No. Classic has tons more to offer than just “get items fast”. I am enjoying the slow-paced gamestyle to be social with my guild and generally just immerse myself and enjoy the journey.
I don’t mean this in a negative way, but the gameplay that WoW Classic offer may not be aimed for the kind of gamer you are.
(Just as for example fast-paced First Person Shooters aren’t made for people like me)
On the OP’s note, it does seem like too much time. Since WoW classic came out I’ve logged 5 days. That’s 1/6 of all my time, and 1/4 of every waking hour. Actually insane when you think about it, and I’m only level 38 with pretty high professions.
Sure I’m inefficient and spent a good day of that playing the AH while playing Spider Man, but still even with 4 days it’s still a bare chunk of time.
Even if OP is finished, there’s 8 more classes to max, and enough professions to fill 7 and a half character if you don’t take any duplicates but do count things like Tribal leatherworking separately. There’s so much to do pre-60, and getting 9 sets of pre-BIS+Tier 1+currently available BIS end game items (what few there are) could take a couple of years even at a fast pace.
It’s just a silly complaint. If you’re bored, play another game. If you like the game, play it.
Hi,
If you’re done with this phase, drop your subscription and wait it out until the next. If an alt (another leveling experience) does not interest you, and you don’t pvp or grind dungeons, there’s not much to do, except maybe just talk and create social events.
You might want to try out Path of Exile, it’s a hardcore-esque ActionRPG that can have you sink hundreds of hours into each league (3 month leagues).
See you when you get your interest back!
You played the game fully - until the end, did everything worthwhile and achieved all the goals you set out for. And then you cry about that its over ? If you cant see the irony in that …
And noone needs to defend classic, thats pretty obvious as well …
People are being salty for obvious reasons … This is getting tiresome …
Just go take a break and play something else, and stop embarrasing yourself with these kind of threads …
And here’s me, afetr 44 dungeon runs I manage to win my first pre-raid bis item. I guess you can now take a break, level a alt, do some pvp, do social things with your guild.
