Class design. They need to make each class unique, stop the pruning and make each class fun to play.
There are many other issues but I think this is one of the main factors that discourage people to play the game.
I’m not saying there’s aren’t good classes atm, but many are lacking, pruned and are just not unique. where is the fantasy and RPG element?

My one thing to focus on would be to make the game feel like a rewarding experience, instead of giving ever fancier rewards for enduring a dull game experience. I don’t want a fancy reward for seeing/completing the quest/zone/dungeon/raid/storyline. I want seeing/completing the quest/zone/dungeon/raid/storyline to be a reward in itself. And the shiny gear rewards to just be a tool to see more of the game.

Customer service, because it’s really aweful right now and enough to make me quit soon.
Also, taking care of their employees instead of using them as slaves.
So basically, I want them to be human instead of monsters. That’s all.
My time is limited and WoW should respect that and ensure that when playing it, I never walk away feeling like I’ve achieved nothing.
To that end; currency tokens from everything. Guarantee that I cannot never get a desired item, and ensure that every time I do something, I can say it has contributed - even if only a little - to my goals. Currency must be delivered per-boss, not at the end of the instance, on the basis that many groups fizzle through no particular fault of the individual.
Spending a day in M+ and receiving nothing at all really makes players question why they’re bothering. That needs to end very soon.
(You may assume that I utterly reject the notion that there is nothing exciting about marking a date on my calendar as to when I get a particular reward. I like doing that. It keeps me going through the grind to KNOW that I get something at the end of it, and I get to choose which reward matters most to me.)

I would like Blizzard to focus on the game “Warcraft.”
I would like Blizzard to stop focus on the game, “Only Shareholders Happy.”
And the sequel “C.E.O Activation Happy”.
Time to get some focus groups Blizzard and get to the truth of the problem.
I always think about the professions. It’s like hobbies in-game I’d always come down to having 2 parts to gears. Mostly cosmetic from dungeons and specialized templates from crafters.
Cosmetic but broken drops from dungeons with primary stats = Phsyical appearance of the gear. The first part of the gear’s name.
Consumable templates from crafters = Secondary stats which completes a gear. The second part of the gear’s name.
Now you’d still wear those from dungeons to get your main dps from the primary stats but you’d lack the full potential without the templates from crafters with secondary stats. Of course the crafted templates would be rng items, applying random stats on each use (blizzard style)
You have to make players depend on crafted gear=other players somehow. Consumables are a way to do this.
PS: And by the way, THEY WILL NEVER BALANCE THE CLASSES
WHAT DO YOU WANT BLIZZARD TO FOCUS ON?
The Ball.
They gotta focus on the ball…
Look at the the ball Blizzard, watch the ball…
Focus on the ball Blizz, STARE AT THE BALL, STARE AT THE BALL BLIZZ!!
Don’t take your eye off the ball, DON’T YOU DARE…
Now, swing the racket back, get the racket back early BLIZZ…
BUT KEEP LOOKING AT THE BALL!!
Now, step into the ball Blizz, move your feet, AND look at the ball…
WITH THE RIGHT FOOT BLIZZARD!! GOD DAMN IT,…THE RIGHT FOOT…
Keep looking at the ball, and look at the placement BLIZZ…
The ball, the ball Blizzard, It goes where you look,…THE BALL!!
C’MON,…MULTITASK BLIZZARD, MULTITASK!!
Keep looking at the ball, AND swing through the ball…
SWING THROUGH THE BALL!!
CONTACT!!
GOD DAMN IT BLIZZ…
You took your eye off the ball didn’t you?
Bottom of the net, jesus christ Blizz…
Didn’t even hit the net tape…
How many more times?
Be nice if they just cared about the game, like they used to back in Mop and before, be nice if their employees actually cared about the game like they used to, All the original Devs have either left by themselves or been fired, all the ones who realy did care about and we’re passionate with their work and their product.
There’s no thought or care put into anything these days, contents just rushed out mostly unfinished, untested and broken then fixed very slowly over an entire expansion to finally get it somewhere acceptable right at the end.
It’s sad to see the state the game is in these days so much that as either been removed or changed so much its got past the point of viable repair, they won’t spend on fixing anything, it seems it’s far easier for them to just produce more broken unfinished things to take people’s minds away from the other things.
All the years of the memes of new games being possible WoW killers, Ironically WoW is actually killing itself these days.
There’s so much wrong with every aspect of the game right now that focusing on fixing just one would be counter-productive.
I would like to see them hire some actual story writers instead of what they currently have, but focusing on that would be to the detriment of the rest of the game.
I want them to focus on the game not on the stupid esports that only create this toxicity that people are complaining about it.

Class Design, Class Design, Class Design. Specs need to be fun, come with some depth, variety, usefulness and long term entertainment and motivation.
Everything else in this game is nothing if you cannot enjoy playing a spec for longer than 30 minutes day until it starts to bore the crap out of you.
Bread and butter gameplay has to be allright.
I barely enjoy my 10 years Druid main this xpack, hell, every spec of her is a watered down, slower and much more boring version of it’s legion predecessor (And Legion allready had pretty shallow class design tbh).
Every alt bores me to death immediately after killing two mobs…give me something that’s fun and I am back to grind non lfr raids, m+ and arenas again. But atm nope!
Error 404 fun not found.

You can! Trade your PC with a portable one…
End-game gearing system and the class design please, alot of the classes should have many of the currently available talents as baseline imo and ye gearing is obvious

They can do a million things, but as long as they dont make classes somewhat fun to play it doesnt matter. That means cutting down on GCD and give classes even more utilites (some barly got any).
But thats not gonna happen because of arena, unless they realize that it not gonna be a big e-sport.

It is completely illogical to claim this. Arena currently has every class having more utility than PvE does via PvP talents, which suggests that Arena NEEDS classes to have augmented toolsets for it to be interesting compared to raids or even dungeons.
Getting new abilities through regular leveling would be great.
Ever since the artifacts have been burned out and are more or less just fancy looking weapons you stick with the whole legion expansion, there isn’t much you have gotten new.
The last regular talent to choose from has been 20 levels ago.
Hitting level 120 doesn’t feel something rewarding for the character itself anymore. Nothing that pats your back and tells you “Good job reaching it, champ. Here’s a new ability to tinker with!”
The second piece would be the sudden absence of our class halls in BfA, like the affiliations of your hall members has been erased and are free to be killed in battlegrounds again (with the exception of the circle of cenarius and the earthen ring).
The rest is just OoL things : Choosable eye colors regardless of face, and gear set previews on the character creator.
