Yeah people generally dont apologise a million times when those they have apologised to continue to make digs anytime they make a post, believe it or not, apologise once, they dont accept your apology move on, if they continue to target you after? ignore them, aint nobody gunna spend years begging forgiveness on the forums, nor should they be expected to.
Do they apologise once and show remorse though?
I recall a huge apology before yeah, which ofc got similar responses to basically anything they post now, apologise once thats it, if they dont accept? what can you do? no point grovelling for forgiveness off people clearly unwilling to forgive, its not something I would ever do anyways, I wouldnt have made the comment to begin with dont get me wrong, but I am in a healthier state of mind than I imagine they was during that time, but again, dont ever grovel, if people cant accept an apology simply move on and ignore their digs is the best thing I can suggest.
I’ve never actually apologised. I have acknowledged and taken responsibility for my actions but never once apologised. I explained back then the same thing I did above.
I cannot say what I want to say here on the forums because the report function will be abused again with mass reports and a 14 day posting ban will happen again. Same playbook.
This is why the pcu won’t get an apology from me. You cannot do something expecting a reasonable out come with bad faith actors.
Any apology would be twisted and used for their own narrative.
Apologising for the comments you made wouldnt be a bad move, I would suggest doing it atleast once, if they dont forgive you? nothing more you can do, but I would suggest apologising atleast once for what you said, it was disturbing what you said, I wont judge 100% as you mentioned your mental health, but aslong as you apologise atleast once, which I felt that huge message before you sent was almost, theres not much more you can do, and atleast people cant say you never apologised, I took that huge heartfelt message you made before as a kinda apology, so my mistake, if they use it against you? so be it, you done what was right, you apologised for something wrong, no harm in apologisng, being wrong and admitting it isnt an L imo.

Well in all fairness if you refuse to apologise for saying those things, theres not a whole lot more I can to try and support you in this.
There is a lot the pcu can do to apologise to the people of Argent Dawn but they won’t. The only difference between the pcu and myself is I will freely admit my mistakes.

I mean, no? I don’t know what game of 4D chess you think everyone is playing, I think most folk would just be like:
“Oh. Cool. Remorse for the horrid things you said.”
But there is none. Because you won’t apologise despite given the opportunity.
I won’t lose sleep over being accused of arguing in bad faith, nor will I lose sleep if you slip back into your old ways and tell me or those I know to alt+F4 IRL.

Strange, I don´t recall telling other people to drink acid, or saying I want to see them decapitated in front of their families. Seems like there are few more differences between us than you think.
You trying to defend & apologize for Mr. Ghormisa here and make them see reason. A valiant yet futile attempt. I commend you for the White Knighting effort nontheless.
If you cant even apologise knowing you said some bad things, I’m out on this, not that anyone needs my support ofc, people have their own backbones/spines ect, but Ghormisa, apologising isnt a blow to the ego, dont look it as that please, you said you acknowledge what you said was wrong, in such a situation, the typical thing to do is…apologise, but you are your own person, this decision is yours to make.

Let’s go down the hypothetical route that you DO apologise.
In what way, shape, or form, could an apology POSSIBLY be twisted against you? What harm could it do,and in what way could it possibly be worse than continuing to go on ahead without apologising? Genuinely.

It isn’t an ego problem.
It’s a narrative problem. It’s an image problem for the pcu and an apology would absolve the pcu for everything they’ve done to people on Argent Dawn but will refuse/deny/disregard to make themselves look innocent.
You know I once contacted Perroy saying we needed to talk about this via twitter but was met with a stonewall message saying that I will be disregarded.
I didn’t realise the PCU was one monolithic humanoid blob.
Thought it was many people.
