Also want to end this with: Lightning Lasso was a mistake and has to be taken out of the game. It’s silly.
Yes please stop commenting, you are ignorant and you talk too much without having any clue…
Hi, you seem new to the WoW forum. Based on the two posts you’ve made so far, I assume you haven’t had time to read up on the Code of Conduct, so here it is:
I look forward to reading your future posts on the forum. I’m sure they’ll be interesting and insightful.
Druids should be nerfed, they need to have a shapeshift CD or not being able to change at all. Paladins burst need to be nerfed. Nerf Unholy DKs, DHs and Fury Warriors leech omg. Locks have too many possibilities to heal and to cc with an instant button. Ele Shamans Lasso is way too OP.
Mages, Hunters, Rogues seem to be okay. Very weird that pure dps classes loses from hybrids. Blizzard doesn’t seem to care about these 3 classes above anymore.
He actually told that DH can be kited. That’s why I wrote what I wrote
i m not new. i m the one i made that poll in the past to ban you from the forums (it was rather humorish) but then someone (iwonder who) reported me to blizzard and they banned me for a month.
So, you are probably either a blizzard employ trying with your scrutinizing and void statements to hinder any logical progress in the conversation or mentally disturbed.
Either the case i m not afraid you or blizzard and i m going to state my opinion…
which in this case is that you cant stupidly state that the pruning was a good thing by saying that in the past (vanilla) there was balance and now this balance is nonsxistant because there are too many spells. In a way you just ask for more pruning. And this is stupid…
That’s how it should be. In the glory days of arena you could kill healers without dampening or needing to pop cds.
Now I won’t comment on how DH itself works because that’s pointless, but BFA is disgusting when it comes to fighting healers. They don’t even need to cast anymore, especially Druids. Too many instants, including CC.
Only if DDs would get punished in the same way, if they fxcked up.
Example: Manaburn misses enemy healer? Your healer get burned by 50% mana. Wondering how many no skill dhs would try to manaburn then…
We are? If we miss the kick the enemy can just AFK heal.
But if you miss the kick, you can still deal dmg. If you don’t miss it, there isn’t much left a healer can do. Disc maybe, since he has two schools, but gets negated by having no mobility.
So that’s not a good comparison.
Sure, since kick cds went up to 15 sec cd, CS hasn’t a soft silence included anymore and most melee cc got pruned/nerfed (except rogues obviously), healers can’t cry! But to say a rdruid should die as soon as he messed up should also include that your team loses if you messed up… Healers aren’t punish balls or something - to be honest: they have the hardest job, so they shouldn’t be instantly punished to death for any mistake - at least they should have a chance to negate their mistakes imho.
No, I can’t, because any decent healer will just CC you.
Beside the fact that it isn’t true for any healer, a decent dd knows how to avoid that (or let at least his healer know, that he need a dispell soon).
Anyways, you are the typical dh and haven’t changed a bit since legion.
I didn’t state any of that.
I said that the pruning, i.e. specs getting fewer abilities, emphasises the niché areas of the various specs, since there’s less overlap between them.
The opposite of pruning, i.e. giving specs more abilities each expansions, erodes niché areas since more specs get similar abilities.
The player community have generally been fond of getting more abilities. But that does mean the specs get more similar in terms of their toolkits (mobility, self-healing, crowd-control, etc.).
I simply said this in response to the OP who asked:
What happened was that people who played the various other specs wanted self-healing too, and so they got it. And when Blizzard tried to turn the design around again, players objected.
So maybe in the future, learn to read the context of my posts before you go bat-crazy over them?
Damn must be hard to play a DH with 0 damage and bust. Idk how is even possible to win a game. They are so weak and have no utility. They are countered by ever specc in-game, we already know that from you dw.
Imagine calling anything disgusting while playing a DH. If you have a hard time against any specc it’s a l2p issue. DH is broken deal with it
Yesterday i did 25-0 with my dh. It was my first time touching this champ and man my rotation is sooo fcking hard 1-2-3-4-4-4-4-3-2-4-4-4-4 im only use dmg abbility and dush dont need cc healers cant keep up with the insane dmg i did.
Btw any class have some hardcore fanatic deffender like kelduir, whiperer for lock or hollowinside for rets. They just cant give up but they already know they lost.
This is a very well structured assertment based on rationale with obvious conclusion. But you know what ? this is exactly what you are doing in most of your posts here. You use a well structured statement to support something which is irrelevant with the current state of the game. This is a technical method to confuse people. All that you wrote is impeccably right but has no correlation to the game as it is now.
The game has the worst balance ever. For example in MoP there was more balance since the toolkit of almost all classes was rich and unpruned. So, they pruned everafter hard. YOU are saying the community was asking for more spells and this is wrong. In n the peak of MOP that might be wrong but not NOW.
The fact that your assertment is logical and has structure doesnt mean it applies in the present state of the game.
Jito is blizzard’s employee who was demoted. His position is PvP forum commentator. He needs to have 10k posts in pvp forum to be promoted to PvP dev position.
2020 - Jito, new wow pvp dev.
That would definitely be something, considering I wasn’t playing in Legion.
The fact that they haven’t nerfed it even though some of you have been crying for a year shows this statement to be wrong.
Also I see that you haven’t gotten to 2.1K rating in BFA, so why are you even talking about PvP ?
You’re barking up the wrong tree.
You’ve possibly read the title of the thread: “What happened to balance?”
But if you actually read the OP’s initial post, then he’s asking why classes have such big toolkits, when it used to be that each class had something unique. He gave this example, among other:
And my answer - again - is merely that Blizzard continued giving all the classes more abilities with each expansion to flesh out their toolkits, until the point where most classes had a bit of everything.
And when Blizzard then tried to reign it back in by pruning some of the abilities (introducing strengths and weaknesses as they said), then players protested, so they stopped.
So the net result is that today classes are more fleshed-out compared to the old days (TBC for example). They’ve simply gotten abilities they didn’t use to have, like Rogues with self-healing.
Originally Rogues didn’t have self-healing.
Then Blizzard gave it to them (Recuperate).
Then Blizzard regretted giving it to them, so they took it away again.
Then Rogues got upset.
Then Blizzard gave it back to them again (Crimson Vial).
That’s all.
I have no idea what you’re talking about, and I don’t think you have either. What a word salad.
Anyway, I feel like I’ve repeated a simple point many times now. This’ll be the last time:
Certain classes didn’t have self-healing. Then Blizzard gave it to them. Now they have it. Duh.
Same story for every type of ability in the game.
