you are making wotlk sounds like something that it was not.
once you get flight, stuff gets much easier. you can easily bypass players and reach dungeon entrances. proffesions arent harder than today, they just have more recipies (which is a great thing. it is a factor with the feel of a living world).
and when you get the mammoth, it gets even easier.
raiding was harder than tbc, but still not as ridiculous as today. but today is ridiculous only because the addons keep on making it real easy.
if you remove the addons, things would go back to how they were.
wotlk also came out when mmorpg was still strong in the market. but these days, mmos are pretty much dead compared to other genres. sure, you can always find players, but not as many as it used to. kids prefer COD and GTA.

Wotlk has good class design and was great for itâs time.
Not sure if itâd do too well since itâs temporary, while retail keeps progressing.
But itâs definitely a close one, Iâm def gonna play Wotlk again, raids were great, classes felt satisfying.

I am only talking about RPG stuff, I donât care about other things, I donât understand why people donât like some way of sustaining your character, its RPG game in the endâŚ
Why everything is revolving around competition and convenience and efficiency, games used to be different, more adventure like with soul.
People were claiming this ever since classic was announced, for first few months it was blaster.
Now look how it ended up , wotlk will see some succes, but it will die out just like rest .

It did used to be different out of all of these i dont like competition makes people toxic tbh changes their mentality for the worst seen it in alot of mobas and Battle Royal games.
So i like convenience saves me so much time that i have a limited amount of and efficiency makes me understand and gives a hint how to progress my char without wasting hours or a month trying to figure out the bis for my char.
Because without efficiency i will be a burden to many people including myself.
Dont get me wrong game design sucks nowadays but i got used to it because i have tried every other mmo but i always come back to wow because its the best out of all these mmos believe it or not.
you could find guides on âpower-levelingâ everywhere and everyone used it.
and then people went for the gear.
the RPG aspect never was the focus of the players.
shadowlands is the worst in creating a âliving-worldâ, but regardless the players still acted the same since day 1.
complainers ? they existed since day 1 as well. it used to be far worse with the hardcore addicts players everywhere.

I donât wish wotlk to be better or anything like that, I just wish or at least i want people to realize they are playing RPG game therefore we need RPG sustainable systems in the game where you feel like you own the character, or you are the character, BUT I would like those sustainable systems to be more like vanilla wow used to have, just typical farming routines but like 20 routines for each class different⌠thats pure RPG.
Sad as that sounds cause WOTLK is my fav wow expansion it sadly is the truth because of the player mentality nowadays has changed ppl are different not many have the patience to play the older grindy stuff it is what it is.
You have to ask youself who are the normal people out there? patient classic fans or convenient competitive retail players? You just have to ask yourself thatâŚ

The sad part is i still see those players today its because of them we have the Competitive toxic mentality we have nowadays and honestly its cause of them new players are shunned away from the game.

I was convenient competitive freak that chased dopamine every time I enter m+ in legion, I guess vanilla changed me for good and I learned patience, so it has⌠I feel like there are many people feeling like me but they are being quiet about it, because of how ashamed they are of themselves and how they were before, it is because retail was designed to be played like that, and everyone followed that design.
Then why is orgrimmar so empty on the classic servers?
you do understand that there are 5 full servers in TBC right? and SoM is medium populated, with a lot of medium populated tbc servers?

its not as bad as it used to be in vanilla and tbc. there were far more people who play the game 12 hours a day+ (and they werent streaming),

I would subtract the competitive out of that because i dont like those people they are half the reason Retail is the way it is right now chasing away the casual playerbase so in conclusion i would love convenience and efficiency is also a time saver but competitions is a big no no makes people bad.

The TBC servers are going to look just like what I posted earlier once wotlk releases. And wotlk will look like that as well eventually.
Not true at all Classic. Classic SoM and Classic TBC all have had free char moves from dead to full realms and in some cases realm mergerâs so please speak in facts.
All 3 games are dead or dying simple facts you are lying.
