I think this has already happened with TBC. I was comparing logs the other day and found out that illidan has been killed 120k times, while 1st boss of sepulcher has been killed 23k times across all difficulties.
Yes, these are real numbers. The raid in retail is just not appealing to enough people due to its design philosophy and many difficulties.
I think the nice thing about TBC raiding is that you are the judge of the difficulty, because speedrunning exists.
atm i cant reallly do it i think, cause im on low pop server, im not sure how the new rules work, but i think u had to be in same guild or what ever. anyways there is no one to boost on a low pop server. and prices here are insane for matsā¦
Its not just flasks, its pots, runes, engi ress and food. every time i ress a pleb it costs me 1200 g. every time i rune it costs me 200-300 g. every time i use a agi pot it costs me 900-1200g
And for really high keys u use the + stamina 2hour buff as well for chest piece and oils on wep ofc. but yeaā¦ m+ pushing drains gold.
It will just go in maintenance mode.
Iāve seen people farm the love rocket mount on 150 characters, 10k attempts over 10 years. Do you know how much time some people invested into this? Thereās people who wouldnāt know what to do with their life if servers died one day.
Sure. I agree that Blizz will be reluctant to pull the plug but then again. Its still a video game. Nowhere in ToS did it say that Blizz is obliged to keep the servers online until you die off from old age.
Edit: Peps will rage a bit on social media without a doubt but give it a month at most and people will forget all about it cause there will be a new trend or object to be outraged at.
Like Puny said at the beginning, people will hype it up just like they did with Classic and just like they did with TBC and itāll die out within half a year and nobody will talk about it anymore.
Classic isnāt that great as people think it was and itās evident by how little people care about it 6 months into itās release.
THe most stupid thing i did in this game was to do Insane in the membrane, its not so much rng, but it sure took a while. i will never swap the title of insane. everā¦
If i hadnt already done it, there is no way i would do it again. that was some boring grind.
Iād still recommend more outside activity just incase but I know the zinc problem all too well. Brocolli helps too. Also mix spinach in smoothies with apples or sweet fruits, you wonāt taste it but still get those vitamins in.
Also those bags under your eyes sound like lack of sleep, have you tried to sleep on time with 1 hour before bed to not look at screens. I stopped charging my phone in bed but at the other end of my room.
Thank you for the advice i really need to take some of them on board tbh espcially the phone . I do take daily walks to get some fresh air and sun when out but ty for all you said
You are right, that is guild kills indeed, my bad on my part. I went on a different method. I looked at total tank parses. There is a total of 101k total tank parses on 1st boss across all difficulties which is the one most killed. This number comes from all 6 specs of tanks. Considering there is 2 tanks on every raid, we divide 101k/3 which gives us 33k kills total for 1st boss on all difficulties. This is indeed more than 23k, but not by a lot from what you see. It still comes far behind the 120k parses on illidan. The method I used for illidan is similar. There is 1x shadow priest in every raid approx (some raids have 0), and there is 120k shadow priest parses, which brings illidan kills somewhere between 120-140k kills.
