Again, how’s that a point? Being suspicious of a community who has been playing these kind of games for years and having someone go “haha, you’re paranoid!” is ironically a way to shut down any discussion about that situation.

You literally said someone is secretly part of PCU because they used phrases like “rent-free”. If that´s not paranoid, then what is?

In terms of the reputation. I know a good chunk of people who dislike PCU purely based on the fact that people told them to dislike them.

Way before PCU existed when I first started roleplaying back in Cataclysm, I was told by friends to not interact with Rotgarde. When asked why, I was just told they were bad and that they had also heard it from friends.

Learned eventually that those friends heard it from someone else who in turn was someone who was angry for getting kicked or something similliar.

Dont underestimate how much is just based on heresay and decade long grudges over roleplay.

No, I said their language and attitude reminds me of people in the PCU. It clearly isn’t a coincidence, and as far as I know, Sheedai may have taken that from the forums. But there may be other reasons too. It wouldn’t be the first time.

Still, I don’t think it matters that much: I can make mistakes, and playing it out as paranoia is kind of a weird flex.

Members of the PCU - who know better than me who is and isn’t in their community, might make the list themselves and out of transparency, place all the names of people who are associated / have been associated for a long time in the PCU + have posted in this thread. Want to prove me wrong, and show that there are no more than “7-8 people” around here, as Hamptonn (who is a member of the PCU) stated? Then do what I did.
