Can confirm, I have also been called a drone for daring to clarify that, shock horror: not everyone in the community is bad and that my experiences have been entirely positive with many people from there, and that ideally people should experience it for themselves instead of listening to rumours or he-said-she-saids. COAD is, to put it simply, completely deranged and unable to discern any sort of reasoning.

We give paparazzi and similar people a lot of flak IRL for reporting on every single move someone makes, usually half of it being out of context, wild speculation or just outright lies/misrepresenting for clicks.
How come COAD is valid?

Jokes aside, however. People desire things that justify their dislike for things, and even in the case of COAD, the argument of “They said so” and lukewarm takes with questionable screenshots is enough to win the argument for some.
That and they quickly dismiss actual evidence against the ACTUAL unsavoury folk on AD or blame shift by going ‘Yeah but don’t forget about the PCU!!!’ or ‘PCU are just as bad if not worse!!!’ (When it has 0 reason to be compared to the PCU)

I can help you with the “network of bullying” a bit.
A while ago, 6-10 people from the PCU went after a single person on the /wowroleplay subreddit. Why do I remember this? Because I helped the moderators establishing the auto mod by giving them my configuration and keeping an eye on the community back then if they needed me.
There was a certain topic where one person criticized the PCU, which ended in 6-10 people making new accounts and harassing the said OP:

The mods tried to keep the situation under control but the harassment persists after even the postings were removed, because you can still access them through “unreddit”. It was really bad and finally stopped after the topic has been closed.
It was clear back then that one of the discord channels were used in a coordinated fashion to attack this person under the slogan “we are allowed to defend ourselves when someone says something bad”. Newly made accounts during the same time frame, laser-pointed discussion in that topic alone.

You conveniently forgot to mention who this person was. The name starts with “L” and ends with “ilynore” and they did multiple posts like these both on forums, WoWRP subreddit and even ended up being interviewed by Asmongold (while using a terrible voicechanger to pretend they’re a woman) because he found it funny that there’s a guild which is selling ERP services for gold (they were the GM).
Said person was also in habit of ganking not only our RP events for weeks, but also random RPers in Stormwind because they were part of “Coalition of Evil” (a.k.a. people who were against this guild doing prostitution RP in Stormwind).
On top of ganking and disruption of RP, they also edited screenshot from one of our events and replaced chatbox (which was gnomes interrogating a goblin they just fought) with one filled with some nasty ERP stuff. Then they posted it on the forums on an alt account, pretending to be concerned individual who only wants to protect the children from vile ERPers of PCU.
So, congratulations on trying to portray one of the most vile people in current AD history as innocent individual that was harassed by evil PCU.

I don’t remember the person and don’t care what they have done to the PCU. Fact is that people went after one single person in a coordinated harassment attack. This happened, regardless how the drama started or ended. This is what I have posted and could observe in the past. End of story.
Don’t care what they did to PCU but you seem to care a lot about what PCU supposedly did to them. Enough to dredge up obscure years old reddit posts.

You do realize PCU has hundreds of people, right? 6-10 people responding to sometging is not result of organization, it’s result of someone posting link in our Discord and going “look at this clown”.
And I provided you with context. You said context doesn’t matter. It’s as if you’re not posting in good faith.

It’s a Discord community for RP guilds so they can better organise inter-guild RP, campaigns and storylines.
People make a big song and dance and write their essay posts but it’s literally that simple. Light forbid we have a little coordination around here.
