Why do I remember this? Because I helped the moderators establishing the auto mod by giving them my configuration and keeping an eye on the community back then if they needed me.
The PCU could have contacted the moderators and told their side of the story and how this is a “smear campaign”, with the request to remove the topic from the subreddit? Would have been a much better solution.
Seeing these reactions, it’s no wonder people are always on the fence when it comes to the PCU. This is my last post in this topic, before +30 people attack me for no reason but just bringing up an “event” which actually happened.
Oh right, forgot that people who happen to be in PCU guilds are supposed to silently endure all sorts of nonsense, because if they dare to use forums and social media to give their two cents it’s suddenly attacking, harassment, dogpiling and bullying.
Almost like a big community has more than one members that want to contribute to a conversation.
So, responding to someone trying to ruin your reputation is actually wrong and you’re the bad guy for doing so. Good to know.
By reactions you mean one person explaining the topic to you and then two people (one of them being the explainer, yours truly) calling you out for saying context doesn’t matter?
If people are on the fence because they’ll get called out on their BS, then that’s a good thing.
This is just plain idiotic. How can you virtue signal, try and make yourself as some neutral party on the moral high ground and then shoot yourself in the foot by showing your ignorance all in one post?
The dude who you were white knighting to protect the precious integrity of that subreddit had been doing your much reviled coordinated and targeted harassment for weeks (or months by that point) and that reddit post was part of his misinformation campaign.
Personally PCU as it stands today as others have said its a community of combined guilds with like minded ideals (No ERP, No OOC in /s /y /e, Keep it IC and have fun).
Personally I had no issues from the PCU community as its in the end of the day a bunch of guilds that have similar ideals and are participating together to roleplay with each other or against each other in awesome roleplay campgins.
Delusional, trying to manipulate others to see themselves as being virtuous because they clearly claim to advocate support for a certain modern day political agenda.
It’s just hedonistic narcissists creating drama and trying to cause dissent, out of malice rather mixed with a bit of insanity.
Resorting solely to calling people -isms, -ists, -phobes is the tell tale of a modern day idiot. If there’s actual proof point them out, with evidence, I hate racism as much as everyone else. But COAD operates on hearsay, they’ll string an edgy joke out of context if they have to.
Not that I support the PCU, I don’t support an obvious vanity project. But COAD is no better and arguably worse, there’s some folks I like from the PCU and some bad edgy apples who I don’t.
Atleast the PCU are not cowardly enough to hide behind an anonymous tumblr blog.
There is a pattern of this on the forums, like said not all are bad, but some are outright awful and that gets downplayed an awful lot and the attention brought back to the “sins” of those dogpiled and ofc “evil” coad and their “dodgy” screenies, despite some people on the forums being super fond of clipped screenies, alot of hypocrisy goes on in AD
Bigotry goes on in these forums, it happened only days ago Berach so its pointless pretending that Coad makes all this up, they dont, there are some genuine scumbags on these forums and ingame they get called out and put on blast at times, its really that simple.
I’m not going to have a back and forth here and derail, I’d prefer to make my own opinions from what I see based on evidence and truth not have some cowardly overtly opinionated blog making them for me.
Right well the evidence was there clear as day, but you do you, I think alot of the people who have been burnt by that blog recently to be cowardly in nature also, its just one of those things really, different opinions
I think you should stick to being a badass anti-PCU man in background servers instead of trying to pretend you’re just a poor widdle neutral agent come to share the totally real facts you guys (at such great personal risk, too! God forbid 6 out of 250+ people reply to it!)

What is ironic is that those new rules did not harm us, they harmed Lilynore, the innocent victim of our bullying. Nobody was discussing PCU on WoWRoleplay subreddit until Lilynore came there with his crusade. Banning of server drama simply returned it to its previous state + prevented Lilynore from spreading more lies.
Yes poor Keti, and even worse after that we killed all rp in Orgrimmar (by starting to rp somewhere else (so we don’t have to encounter the likes of Keti)) Such monsters we are.
Its really just a roleplay community that have some standard rules (that are all what you should expect anyway. No erp, no ic in ooc channels and so on). When people start to see it as one group like one guild, that is just wrong and there are a lot of differences between the guilds, even outside of the theme. Because they still all are their own guilds. But they are working together to plan big campaigns and essentially to have as much interactions with other guilds as possible.
For the players it means more interaction with members of other guilds and for us gm’s and officers it means that it is easy to plan events together.
How someone starts to think that a roleplay community in wow on argent dawn is an evil cult of na[…]is is beyond me but sounds like quite an obsession and frankly needs help.
In short (too late for that I know) if you just want to rp, just rp. You will find the people you have fun to play along with and don’t have to care about the typical forum drama. This is a hobby, not politics.
This quote is out of context but yes, I still stand to what I said and I will say it again: It was enjoyable to see what happened and the PCU will ruin themselves over time with such behaviour. But is this my current stance? No. During the time, when I posted this, I was not on friendly terms with a few PCU-people who wrote me a few inGame messages but common knowledge prevails and we all know you cannot judge a basket by a few bad apples. Remembering that time, I was in a bad place back then when I posted this, so I do apologize for the posting but I certainly do own it.
I merely jumped on the topic because of the posting made that there is no evidence, while I do remember one event where I could provide some transparency. And it doesn’t take away of the main issue here: These coordinated attacks happened through a discord channel. This should have never happened in the first place, because anyone in the PCU represents the whole collective group and I’m sure the PCU has rules in place for such things which needs to be acknowledged.
Secondly, I read for the second time here that I “defend” or “white knight” the person in question but no, it’s just a baseless accusation and most of you took the bait. I do not find it acceptable what the person might have done to the PCU (and I lack the context here) but at the same time it actually ended in a harassment for the user. As I stated before, the situation could have been resolved clearly better by not making a fuss about and directly contacting the subreddit mods.
