It’s prolly not a bug tbh, Sub is just as abusive as Ret when it comes to modifier stacking. When you have like 7-10 different % multipliers all scaling off of one another dumb **** is inevitable.
Feral need a big nerf.
From the moment they open on you 2 seconds later you watch half your HP gone and if you are not a paladin to bubble then idk what.
I get what you are saying, ele is deffo one of the better casters vs double melee, but to get all you mentioned, there is a trade off.
Cap totem is almost never played and static also rarely after the nerf. Since grounding is a mandatory pick in 95% cases, you either have to trade damage (Totem of wrath and Bloodlust pvp talents) or def (Burrow).
The reason why ele is good vs melee imo is because training ele gives malestrom so you never run out of damage buttons to press and even tho it is not the best at kiting, it can take quite a few hits in downtime aswell.
i actually have a feral ready i started enjoying after playing it in classic/tbc/wrath and cata but its on winter sleep currently till they fix it (nerf)
It’s not a bug. It is… creative use of new talents. That spec always has something stupid going for it. We’ve had, for a very long time, 1min30 or so Smoke, Duel, Cloak, Evasion etc etc due to CDR, Kidney reset kick reset burst CDs reset etc, they remove it (finally), and instead you get 5M Eviscerates on 6M HP pools.
